Note to self: the inside of the oven is really hot. Don't ask me how I know this. Why is it I like touching hot objects?

I know it's not quite the same as putting your hand in a 450 degree oven, but it's like people immediately picking up a thing of coffee or going to eat their food at a restaurant right after the person says "Careful, it's hot." I guess we just like to see things for ourselves?
