I do believe though that Jesus taught that tribulation must come first before the end. He encouraged His disciples to stand firm. He told them 'in the world you will have tribulation". No where did Jesus say "I will come back before tribulation, and rapture you"..no where at all.

of course not... great tribulation is when all of Christianity will be globally persecuted.
persecution is persecution... what makes you think you're going to escape it?

WE face many trials every day
some more than others
BUT
to say we are going to go thru the GREAT TRIBULATION
is not a martyr but a temptation unto GOD
I know you mean well
BUT
we do not live in a society any more that just because you are a CHRISTIAN
you will be killed unless your in a nation that is set-up to a specif religion
that directly opposes you
WHICH
is not the case for basically 90% of us claiming to be and professing JESUS CHRIST
YES
WE will be made fun of and called names and become the butt of many jokes
BUT
were not gonna to be threatened in most cases
AND WE WONT
for WE the BRIDE WILL NOT BE MARTYRED that remain still alive
your beginning to speak as the muslims strapping bombs to themselves
WE will be gone
WE will not see TRIBULATION
NOR
GREAT TRIBULATION
SOO
STOP acting as if your in a training camp
preparing for MASS MURDER

WE DO NOT WALK IN POWER NOW AND IN VICTORY
TO BE
MADE EXAMPLES LATER
BY THE ANTICHRIST
IT IS UN-BIBLICAL

Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying they will keep yours also. John 15:20

are you that afraid of dying for Christ?
are you seriously that fearful of taking a stand against the enemy, risking your family, your loved ones, your physical health, and eventually your life, to the point where the only thing you have left is your faith in Jesus Christ?

are you that fearful of persecution?

Go tell this doctrine of yours to the Christians who died as martyrs at the hands of the Caesars in the first century, when they were arrested, imprisoned, tortured, and killed because they chose to follow Christ instead of the Caesar.
Go tell this doctrine of yours to Polycarp, who was burned alive, and then stabbed with a spear to make sure he was dead.
Go tell this doctrine of yours to the Christians in the Protestant reformation, who were caught, imprisoned, tortured, and killed because they chose to follow Christ instead of the Pope.
Go tell this fantasy doctrine of yours to all the Christians of Cuba, Comoros, Somalia, Mauritania, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Turkey, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Oman, the Maldives, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tibet, Brunei, Malaysia, Vietnam, Laos, Burma, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, and North Korea today...

go tell them that they are not going to see tribulation or persecution... go tell them that they are all going to magically and secretly fly away from persecution EVEN THOUGH THEY LIVE IN CONSTANT PERSECUTION 24/7...

go tell this doctrine to those who have to hide their Bibles because if they get caught with one, they can be killed for simply having the Word.

the pre-trib rapture doctrine is a sick fantasy made by the lukewarm, westernized church and Christians who dont even know what the word "persecution" means anymore.

to LIE to a Christian saying that they won't have to suffer for their faith is unbiblical.
to tell a Christian that they are better than the Christians who have died for Christ before them is unbiblical.

Rev 13:7 Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation,
Rev 13:8 and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain.
Rev 13:9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear:
Rev 13:10 If anyone is to be taken captive, to captivity he goes; if anyone is to be slain with the sword, with the sword must he be slain. Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.

the first century Christians were made examples of in the Colosseum...
the Christians were made examples of in the Papal Inquisition...
there are Christians today that are being made examples of in every country that says "it is punishable by death to have a Bible".

I know what the WORD says by heart
but
we are not living among Roman dictators and we are not living in bondage as slaves literally
and NO ONE
is beating us like they did PAUL every time he casted out demons
or like the DISCIPLE when they preached JESUS
WE do this freely now
with no repromand
BELIEVERS have never lived in a period by which they are more FREE to be who they are
STOP
thinking your living in a time that is not adherent to which we do in actuality do live.
AND YES
FOR GOD and my brothers and sisters
I am more than willing to die for
READ MY TESTIMONY
if anyone here giving an opinion that honestly knows about EVIL
IT IS ME
I ran with the Hells Angels and Henchman I was in drug business with them
My uncle is connected and I collected $$ for unpaid loans
WHEN I CHOSE WILLINGLY TO WALK AWAY
I HAVE BEEN SHOT AND STABBED MORE THAN A DOZEN TIMES
IN HOPES OF KILLING ME
SO
DO NOT EVER
AND I MEAN..........EVER
QUESTION ME ON FACING ANYTHING FOR GOD
WHEN WAS THE LAST YOU GOT FROM BEHIND YOUR PC
WALKED OUTSIDE AND KNEW THE MEN FOLLOWING YOU
IN HOPES FOR YOU TO MAKE ANY MISTAKES SO THEY COULD KILL YOU
MY OWN UNCLE WANTS ME DEAD
DO NOT TELL ME YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT
BECAUSE
YOU HAVE NO CLUE

AFTER facing this
I know hell and i promise you
GOD wont let me go thru TRIBULATION
like you want to teach and preach and believe
IM TELLING YOU
YOU ARE WRONG

Amen Zilla I dont think I could have put that in better words.

BOTH of you are 26 and believe you know everything
I do not wish this upon anyone
BUT
if you both
had to face what I do
and still be an associate Pastor and be the ideal constant for others to find hope for GOD by example
I doubt you 2
could add up together

Joint hair I appreciate your zeal. But what if I am right. I know I havent lived as rough of a life as you I've come to the Lord 5 months ago, but I don't think we need to evaluate who was thorough the worst and who is capable of enduring the most. The Lord is capable of helping us through tribulation.

The thing that worrys me on your part is that you are so set that you will not have to endure presecution, If you are wrong will you be angry at God or will you still be able endure. We must remember that Jesus paid a price for us and that is realy the least we can do for him. Maybe we will live through the seven years of tribulation. The Bible says that those who remain alive will be caught up to meet Him in the air. So abviously there will be some people who live through it.

The word rapture did not come out of Jesus's mouth once , as recorded in the bible, but the word tribulation came out a few times.

You have a persecution complex, big time.

What makes you think that the church will not be persecuted in these last days before Christ comes for it in the rapture?

You won't answer that question or any of the others because you don't have any gutz or godly perception and you're not honest. You are the little spineless wimp that never recognizes and sees when the goodness of God comes.

What makes you think that believers that make up the church have not had their faith tried and have not been through tribulations in this life? What makes you think that believers have not suffered and been mocked and ridiculed for their faith? Do you base this on your own experience as a 26 year old novice? What do you know about the trials of life and what Spirit-filled believers go through?

When you got saved did you have all you friends of the world reject you when you told them about the love and salvation of Jesus Christ? Have you ever had accusations hurled at you year in and year out? Have you ever been slandered and maligned in such a way that your own friends that you loved betrayed you? Have you ever been run out of town by the locals and had your church burned down because they did not like your message of conviction and the effect it was having on local business and families because of the cross of Christ? There are some on this site that have had things like this happen to them that left them bewildered and hurt and in some cases wounded not knowing why. But God was faithful and gave them grace and came along their side to comfort them and encourage them.

ALL that live godly will suffer persecution / 2Tim 3:12.

That verse is in your Bible and it applies to all believers no matter where they live. Perhaps those that have not suffered persecution have not lived godly lives and there are those that do live godly and will suffer persecution. If I were you I would not get too puffed up in your little novice minded contrived intellectualism less you get caught up in the condemnation of the devil / 1Tim 3:6. Jesus said that the world will hate you because you are not of the world as I am not of the world / John 15:18-20, 1Jn 3:13,14. This applies to every believer that makes up the church that takes up their cross and follows Christ.

You don't like this kind of challenge? You have said plenty and mocked believers who belong to Christ. We are to walk in wisdom and to live peaceably with all men as much as possible / Rom 12:18. Did you forget that verse also, that is in your Bible or do you like to keep rubbing people the wrong way because of your persecution complex. You don't prepare yourself for persecution, you walk in the light and in wisdom toward them that are without. Persecution will come because of the light. Did you forget the word of God that told you that men love darkness more than the light and will not come to the light less their evil deeds be reproved / John 3:20? That's one of the reason John the Baptist got his head chopped off and he wasn't even the Light, but was sent to bear witness of the Light / John 1:7,8. That is why the least in the kingdom is greater than John the Baptist / Mt 11:11

I never said it wouldn't. The church is being persecuted right now.. you ever been to the website Voice of the Martyrs? thousands of Christians are being persecuted today... however the only thing that has not happened yet is Christian persecution on a global scale, but having said that, nothing in the Bible says that we are going to secretly fly away

You won't answer that question or any of the others because you don't have any gutz or godly perception and you're not honest. You are the little spineless wimp that never recognizes and sees when the goodness of God comes.
spineless wimp? dishonesty? no godly perception?... it is through trials and tribulation in which our faith is refined like gold that is refined by fire, to burn away all impurities and imperfections, so that it becomes flawless (1 Peter 1:4-7)... it is through difficult times in which we see Christ and His glory, His faithfulness towards us in helping us through it, and in essence we learn endurance and perseverance (Romans 5:3-5). It is through persecution in which we receive a crown of life, if we stand fast and endure (James 1:12)

What makes you think that believers that make up the church have not had their faith tried and have not been through tribulations in this life? What makes you think that believers have not suffered and been mocked and ridiculed for their faith? Do you base this on your own experience as a 26 year old novice? I never said they didn't. all those countries i listed in my above post consist of countries who's governments will kill anyone with a Bible, regardless... I work and volunteer downtown for the homeless at my church... those who I've talked to, they have so very little, but they have something that most Christians take for granted: their faith. It is faith in Christ that helps us get through the most difficult times in life... in despair, dismay, pain, suffering, trials, persecution, it is our saving faith in Christ and Christ alone that saves us, for His joy is our strength.

When you got saved did you have all you friends of the world reject you when you told them about the love and salvation of Jesus Christ? Have you ever had accusations hurled at you year in and year out? Have you ever been slandered and maligned in such a way that your own friends that you loved betrayed you? I had absolutely no friends of any kind when Christ pulled me out of the darkness that surrounded me. I had to go to His Word and His Word ALONE, and it was His Love that stopped me from killing myself.

Have you ever had accusations hurled at you year in and year out?
yes, as a matter of fact, I have... i still do today. I am persecuted today for what i believe in, because simply I believe in Jesus Christ. I have been slandered, cursed at, insulted constantly by those who live in darkness

Have you ever been slandered and maligned in such a way that your own friends that you loved betrayed you?
YES, I HAVE. A CHRISTIAN COUNSELOR BETRAYED MY TRUST IN A CHRISTIAN REHAB FACILITY BY SPREADING A LIE ABOUT ME, AND IT GOT OUT INTO THE SCHOOL THAT I WAS ATTENDING. THE CLOSEST FRIEND I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE YELLED AT ME, INSULTED, AND BURNED A BRIDGE OF FRIENDSHIP SIMPLY BECAUSE I WANTED TO GROW CLOSER TO JESUS CHRIST.

There are some on this site that have had things like this happen to them that left them bewildered and hurt and in some cases wounded not knowing why. But God was faithful and gave them grace and came along their side to comfort them and encourage them.
no doubt... Jesus Christ Almighty did help them, did encourage them, and He helped them grow in their faith and their walk... He helped them THROUGH it. He did not rapture them away from it. Jesus Christ has ALWAYS taught endurance, perseverance in the worst times of life, whether it be mental, emotional, physical, or spiritual...

ALL that live godly will suffer persecution
2Tim 3:12.

That verse is in your Bible and it applies to all believers no matter where they live. This applies to every believer that makes up the church that takes up their cross and follows Christ.
and so are the following verses as well, which teaches perseverance and endurance through hard times...

James 1:12
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.

1 Thessalonians 3:1-4
1 Therefore when we could bear it no longer, we were willing to be left behind at Athens alone,
2 and we sent Timothy, our brother and God's coworker in the gospel of Christ, to establish and exhort you in your faith,
3 that no one be moved by these afflictions. For you yourselves know that we are destined for this.
4 For when we were with you, we kept telling you beforehand that we were to suffer affliction, just as it has come to pass, and just as you know.

1 Peter 1:6-7
6 In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials,
7 so that the tested genuineness of your faith--more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire--may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:3-5
3 More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,
5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

You don't like this kind of challenge? You have said plenty and mocked believers who belong to Christ. We are to walk in wisdom and to live peaceably with all men as much as possible / Rom 12:18. you don't know my life.
you don't know my walk with Christ.

you don't know my struggles with depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, self injury, drug abuse, family violence, suicide, social anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, or the constant demonic affliction that I've had in my life... i say these things not to boast myself up, but to raise up the Most High God who has helped me endure all of these things, who has helped me grow closer to Him in all suffering, because it was Him and Him ALONE that has constantly picked me up, brushed me off, said "it's okay, I love you... keep pushing forward"... it was Jesus Christ who, when my worst nightmare came true in my life, opened my eyes to His Joy, His grace, His mercy, but more importantly, His Love for me, and the promise that no matter what i go through, He is still there for me (Isaiah 41:10) He will never leave me or forsake me (Deut. 31:6, Hbrws. 13:5) His promise gives me life (Psalm 119:49-50) His love will never depart from me (Isaiah 54:10) i can cast all anxieties on Him, because He cares, and in the end He Himself restore, comfort, strengthen, and establish me (1 Peter 5:6-11) to not be afraid of being persecuted in front of others (Matthew 5:11-12) and even with the chance of me dying a martyr's death in these last days {God's Will be done in everything, and if that is God's will for me in the future, I will not run from His plan; Phil. 1:21, Phil 1:6} (Rev. 13:10) He will ultimately win (Revelation 19:11-21).

However, i will not give up in my life and i will continue to endure, because Jesus Christ has told me to endure and persevere (Matthew 24:13), but even at that, God will give me strength (Isaiah 41:10)

i've stabbed myself enough times to know that Christ is bigger than anything the enemy throws in our faces... and it is in Him in which we find joy and peace... and it is in Him alone, not some rapture, that i find the strength to carry on.

Unless you've been stabbed and shot a few times you can't know the truth. :D

I wish that was the case then I could write a documentary of complete TRUTHS

LOOK
I am not saying we as CHRISTIANS will not be persecuted
BUT
THE GREAT TRIBULATION
is the 2nd half of TRIBULATION
AFTER
Michael kicks Satan the DRAGON out of heaven for good
AND
the 2 witnesses will be called back
AND
the 144,000 will be raptured
THEN GOD WILL OPEN UP GREAT WRATH
and that wrath will be as that which is written in
REVELATION 9 is strictly about DEMONS like scorpions and DEMONS with faces like lions
will attack man and it will be a time
WHEN
THOSE TORMENTED WITH THE MARK OF 666
WILL TRY TO KILL THEMSELVES BUT THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DIE
NO SINFUL MAN WILL BE ABLE TO DIE SOO THAT THEY MAY
ENDURE UNTIL ARMAGEDDON

AND I AM SORRY
BUT THIS IS NOT THE BRIDE OF CHRIST HERE SUFFERING
AND ANYONE WHO BELIEVES THIS TO BE SO
BETTER LAY OFF THE MEDICATIONS
AND GET HIGH ON GOD
