do you find you use Spanish and French more frequently?
For Spanish, yes, and by far. I don't even have to try to use Spanish because I happen to fall upon the language on a daily basis. Portuguese, I gotta try. And to a lesser extent French.

i grew up in northern NYS and there was an influx of visitors from Quebeq every summer.
when they came into my workplace i was glad of my limited ability to help them, because no one else spoke a word of French, and they were allergic to English? lol

Yeah, it's all those verb tenses and conjugations. They're sharp and kinda prickly, you know? Ay Dios. It's worse when I fall knee-first.
