The soreness, I'm sore, can barely walk, the kids are
real sore also. They asked if they had to ride today, I
told them no.
We still need rain, it's been 10 weeks. We had 2 storms
in that time, had all the bellls, lights, but no rain. I guess
we'll have to pumpwater from the big creek to the pond.
Don't know yet what I'm going to do.[/QUOTE]
I used to love horseback riding when I was a kid. Went every weekend. Still remember my fav lil' horse ... Blackie. Fastest of the lot Was a good horse to ride
Last time I went riding I was on a huge horse his back was so wide and my legs are so short....any who I had to have a step ladder to get up on him and I could see the roof of the stall from sitting on his back... He was a 5 year old horse I am thinking a French Quarter horse can't remember for sure BIG.... Really BIG.... But what I do remember is he had a handlebar moustache...
I promised myself I was not going to fall off of this guy cause I'd never get back on him without the ladder....So we start and along the way he decides to get frisky.....starts running I had my hair in a French braid he ran straight for a tree.... I was pulling the so hard to get him to stop..... he came up just short of the trunk of the tree..... my hair a mess from branches hanging down pulling at it until he stopped... Did not fall off.....determined to stay on....lol In spite of horses bad behavior it was a nice ride and not just some follow the trail thing with the excitement he gave me.... Let's just say Blond will never forget that ride or that HUGE HORSE....with his cute moustache.......
