How long have you been having eye problems?
Kis may be sleeping in this morning, I did go
back a few post, he's missing.
Just listen to the Dr, he has your best interest
at heart?
Well, you know what Monday is, not looking forward
to it. I tried to research it, not a lot out there. I hope
they don't keep me this time, only God knows.
the eye problem is a side effect of prednisone. it causes edema (fluid accumulation) in the eyes and it gets very difficult to see.

When the Dr told me about it, he told me how it's
done. He did not tell me what to expect, what I
found on line, just about matches what he said.
I am worried about me breathing, and being in
pain. I know that it's going to hurt, how much
I don't know.
So, the meds help in one way, but hurt in another.
They then give you something to offset the side
effects, then the next thing you know, you're
taking a shovel full of pills. I know that I'm sick
of all the meds that I'm on. I was on 30 pills a
day, less the steriods. I'm on 20 a day now, still
way to much.

in a hospital setting there should be adequate pain management?
i know they'll be concerned too much may further depress your respiratory system, though.

problems, so, they should be prepared. It's the pain meds, they
are in your blood stream, they are cleaning your blood, the meds,
go away. The breathing is my biggest thing, laying down, well,
it's super hard to breath. I am putting it in Gods hand, and not
going to get to stressed out. Yea, right, should have said trying,
not to get stressed out.
It's super cool here this morning, I could get used to this.
Feels great sitting on the deck, having a second pot of
coffee.

Hi folks sorry not been around for a while. It turns out she has fractured
the ball socket of her left shoulder. It's not possible to put a pot on this. So
its just strapped up and she's on lots of pain killers.
For the next few weeks my Aunt is staying in a medical rehab place. She's not
ill enough to stay in hospital but can't manage at home with her arm strapped up.
So in the UK they have these places which are like nursing homes where there are
carers, physios, nurses and an on call doctor. The idea is to get people back to a
position where they can return back home as soon as possible. It's going to
be a while though due to her age (80) and the general mobility issues
she has.
She has her own room with en suite bathroom facilities, a TV, 4
meals a day, various communal areas if she wants to spend time with other
patients, a coffee/diner area - I'm thinking of booking a holiday for myself
in this place! Bless the NHS as its all free.
Im probably not going to have much time to be on CC as am splitting my time
between home, the medical centre and work at moment.
It is a bit of a journey there and back from my house a 90 min journey each way
by bus, two buses each way. But some Christian friends have said I can ring them
at any time for lifts - God is good.
