I am a horrible flirt, and when it comes to the uptake, I'm sooooo slow. It's pathetic when flirting has to be pointed out... especially when it's by the one who's flirting with me.

Oh... Well I thought dogs wouldn't touch the stuff either. Something about the smell. I've never tested it on my dog though. Nothing to test it with, and I'm not going to pick up a bottle of hooch just to see if he'll drink it. =^.^=

Yes, good one! Snowy (or rather Milou in the original French) is a fox terrier. His naughty behaviour preceded the creation of Captain Haddock. You could say Snowy was the precursor to the Captain.

Cat's get drunk off cat nip, which is hilarious! My dearly departed cat Charlie was a MEAN drunk. LOL, it was awesome.


Also, Google drunk monkeys. ABC did some special on monkeys who steal drinks from people at resorts. PETA had a temper tantrum, of course, but I laughed so hard my sides hurt.

It was pretty bad. As I've said, the thread title alone made me want to claw my eyes out. All I'll say someone went too far into their ummm...sexual issues. *shudder* Gotta go power wash my brain out again.

You might have been asleep when it happened. Very likely you were, actually. It was up for most of the day in my time zone, and since Australia and Ohio are polar opposites as far as when it's daytime or nighttime for us, you were probably asleep. And for those who didn't see it I don't have an issue with that. As I said, there were many others that DID see it, however, and did nothing about it. Like almost nobody batted an eye at it. One person complained but didn't do anything about it. When I told a mod about it, they agreed that thread was nasty and needed to be removed.

I'm not mad about it, at least not anymore. As I said, it was just something very frustrating to me. Due to the nature of it, I didn't want to exactly be the one to waltz up to a moderator and tell them, hey, I happened upon this really gross thread (because it was awkward). It was right there on the main page of CC when I logged in so it's not like I personally could have avoided seeing it or finding it. >.<

But the important thing is, it's gone now. That's what matters.

Thanks for explaining, Evie. I'm sorry I couldn't do anything due to our very different timezones. Hopefully now that you've brought it to people's attention, we can all be more vigilant.

I don't think I realized quite how big of a project the kitchen and the cabinet would be when I started. So much painting, and that can really only be done while my daughter and her curiosity are sleeping.

I keep forgetting to eat and sleep.

I keep thinking maybe I'd like to buy old, busted up furniture and fix it up and sell it. This has been way too much fun.
