The ones that bother me are those who think if you don't have the gift of tongues, you aren't born again. I wasted 6 years of being a believer thinking I wasn't because I couldn't speak in tongues. Ends up, I can't teach either, which is a bigger problem but rarely addressed in the same depth.
The all-about-tongues people who give all kinds of lessons on tongues when that's not the subject are simply like a mosquito bite. May bother me for a little while, but it goes away quickly enough.

The baptism of the spirit is what saves us, (1 cor 12, romans 6, titus 3:5, col 2: 12)
the anointing of the spirit is what comes after we are saved, and where we get our gifts from. One of the gifts possibly being tongues. and your right, Not all people will have the gift of tongues, and it does not prove your saved if you do, and not saved if you do not.
(I have seen many a false tongues garb so speaking in tongues does not even prove your saved)
