The "best" memory I have of clowns is when we were given tickets to take our three kids to the circus years ago. While the clowns were performing, my kids weren't entertained or impressed at all. In fact, my younger son had a tummy ache and was fidgeting in his seat, whining. Suddenly, he projectile vomited on a woman sitting in front of us. It was as sadly gross as you'd imagine. Then we left, never to return to a circus.

But that's what my kids and I always remember most about the circus and the clowns. *ugh* :p LOL
Clowns ain't from Jesus! Lol jk. I know a lot of children's ministries use clowns. Sometimes it works. Sometimes, well.... there are those like me who would just run away lol

I wasn't serious. I hate beer.. so nasty.. But I do have a wine cooler in the fridge.. :) I just needed a word that rhymed with "here." lol...
So, you set me up? I feel so humiliated. Why would you do that to me?

OK new question: where does on go when you feel so alone that you can no longer see the light?

Also can you still have relations with your husband who has moved out? Who sees it just as benefits?
Sorry what is on my mind.
I would suggest you seek help in your local community so you can build up network of real time friends who can be there to support you in your times of need. There are plenty of 12 step programs. If you have ever had issues with substances, I would suggest AA especially because there is so much recovery and love and faith there, and they go to meetings not just to maintain their sobriety but to put a hand out to those reaching for help.

There is a ladies only forum here for more personal matters. As to your second question, I would advise against it.

I am sorry to cut it short but I have to go now. God bless you all!

They have clowns that come to the hospital, the kids all like them, but the nurses hide......apparently the kids try to keep the clowns so the nurses stay away.

So, today I am going to a memorial service for a man who played a pivotal role within the community I grew up in. I will be completely honest here as this man's son needs some prayer. Well, this guy lost his dad the last week of June and nephew in the Chattanooga Shootings, and he also hit a little boy in the parking lot of a grocery store. The police finished their investigation and did not find him to be responsible, but the family has already hired an attorney to sue him. This guy has spent 50 years on the local fire department as second in command and a wonderful reputation. So please be praying for this guy he has gone through so much and I know deep in my heart he isn't done yet.

That sounds huge

My mother's only sister lived on a farm. I have no idea how big or small it was, or even what they really did. For quite some time, my family used to take about an hour's drive (which to a kid feels like forever in the car) every Sunday afternoon after church, out to their place, where we would visit for the rest of the day, and stay for dinner. I had four cousins plus my aunt and uncle there, and they welcomed a family of thirteen (eleven children plus my parents). A sit down meal once a week of up to nineteen people! I have some such fond memories of my family. Of course it probably wasn't all the kids every week. By the time my youngest sister was born, my oldest sister was in university.

Once at my mother's hometown neighbor's, I was in the cow yard just outside the barn when the barn door was opened from the inside to let the cows out. I knew cows were not really aggressive but I was still scared of being trampled, and had the wherewithal to stand behind the barn door as they exited. I imagine myself being about six or seven at the time, though I cannot be sure.

Good morning/day to all! :)

Well, according to my neighbors, it's small.lol They are 5 farms in my area, my is the
smallest. The largest is, 42,000 acres, the rest are from 20,000 up to 42,000 acers.
People are scared of cows because of their size. The only time you think a cow is
chasing you is, when they get scared. You can walk in the pasture, they all will be laying
down, you start running away fron them, they get up and start running behind you.
They think something is chasing you, they don't want whatever is after you, to get
them.
We used to have my city kin folks to come out on Sunday, spend the day, fish, ride
the horses, and then have dinner. Those were some good days, most have passed on,
their kids, never see them.
My gran-kids have been here for 5 weeks, they leave going home at 7:00 am in the
morning. They love comming and spending time with us. The city kids don't have
any idea what they are missing. We don't have a lot of crime here in the country,
the crooks are afraid they will be shot, most would.
Sorry for the long post, tried to cover what you were talking about.

People won't necessarily make you not feel lonely.....my first marriage I felt terribly lonely with him... When I stopped feeling lonely was when it dawned on me Jesus promised to be with me to the end of the world. Even though I can't see Him I know He is with me and I would just talk to Him... if anyone saw me they would think I was nuts, I don't care... because I know that God cares about me and He cares about you too. The neat thing is that He is with you too right now and you are not alone...

If you need a human to talk to please send a personal message as I am all ears and will listen....

As far as the relations....if you know for a fact your husband has cheated on you.... I'd say no....don't do it for your own safety, but if you know he is still faithful to you and there are possibilities of reunion then why not?.... only you know the answers and if you feel as if you are being used or not.

Remember the Patch Adams movie? It's about social activist and comedian/clown, Dr. Hunter Adams who devoted his life to healing people's hearts as well as their bodies. Well, I spoke to him over the phone one time when I was researching holistic medicine for an ailing family member. Dr. Adams said something profound to me in a voice that surprisingly was quite powerful and tenacious. He told me to never look for a way out of suffering, but look for ways to encourage others in their suffering. He said that was the only real reason to be alive on this earth: encouraging others. He said that if we miss that point, we miss out on the most meaningful blessings in our lives.

I was kind of disappointed at first that he didn't fill me in on alternative medicine. But what he did tell me was so compelling and his voice was so fervent, I believed that's exactly what God wanted me to know.

Lol, your jokes are as lame as mine, cmarieh;)
Lol and the worst part is most of the time I don't realize I tell a joke until a few minutes later. I don't understand what is going through my head for the most part. But at least I am not alone

Can someone please stick a fork in me, I think I'm done.
That reminds me of a prank I did back in High School, I forked and Tee Peed my teachers yard. I'm telling you I was a bad girl

Okay, maybe not that bad but my friend that was with me got blamed for the entire thing and on my last day of school I came clean to the teacher and he didn't believe that I could do something like that
