When I say one, it means one pot, I never say one cup.
I know that I can't get by with one cup.
Sorry you're cold, it's pretty warm on the deck this morning.
Of course it's one cup, one that you refill several times:rolleyes:

Finally got the roots and stumps at the shop cleared out. I am sore this morning. It was almost like manual labor. I'll put a railroad tie against the foundation to keep it from washing, do some filling, and then let the grass grow.
I have 3 more stumps, but no cutting and digging - I'll burn them so it will take a while.
I want the yard clear enough to play croquet....not that I'm going to play, just want the yard that clear. :)
It doesn't look it from that angle, but that is over a thousand lbs of roots. If you could see, there is 150 gallons of sweat covering them.:D

Hello again everybody :) I am kind of back. I was able to start a job back in March with a home improvement store. My disability case did not go quite as planned as the judge said my arthritis is getting better. Yep same questions I had...what? How? So since I can no longer work out in the field I decided to try my hand in retail where my years of construction experience can be used. Two months after I started I was named employee of the month by a unanimous vote. They said it was due to my hard work good attitude always smiling and work ethic. That ooened thr door for me to share my faith with quite a few fellow employees and customrers actually. The store manager also asked me to apply for one of the "pro" positions that just opened. I love the job and it is close to my house. I was walking to work at start a bit but God provided a vehicle for me. I thank God every day for what He has done for me. I thank God for my arthritis also as if it were not for it I would not be able to witness the way I can. I want to thank all of you who have been praying for me...prayers answered :)

So if you haven't done so already...thank God for all He has given you and done for you.

I'm new here and i know people have their view about the bible and they all believe themselves to be right and that"s fine after all i think i'm right too.I think it best to say that we all should agree to disagree. We have subjects in the bible we disagree with, that"s understandable after all we are individuals. For instance i myself don't believe in the trinity because the word trinity nor the doctrine itself is written in the scriptures.I know people will say there are scriptures in the bible that prove the trinity to be true, but just because some people interpret some scriptures a certain way doesn't make it a doctrine. This is the definition of the trinity doctrine that most people talk to me about: "There are three divine Persons (the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost), each said to be eternal, each said to be almighty, none greater or less than another, each said to be God, and yet together being but one God. Other statements of the dogma emphasize that these three “Persons” are not separate and distinct individuals but are three modes in which the divine essence exists." This definition however is not written in the bible ,this is simply someone's interpretation of certain scriptures.Don't get me wrong they have the right to interpret scripture but that doesn't necessarily mean their right,i mean we all know that none of us are infallible no matter how much we are convinced we are right.I know that there will be some people who say they are not interpreting anything, but i challenge you where is this definition written down in the bible.A lot people who believe in the trinity say it's necessary for you to believe this or you are not a christian that you are not saved. Why would God not have this doctrine written down in scripture if it's that necessary for salvation.

No good comes of ignoring Hell, but no good comes of focusing too much on it either. There's a healthy balance somewhere.
If our focus is on one thing that should be JESUS.....and when I think of Him I see love....not someone wanting and waiting to punish us wicked sinners in Hell.....God is patiently waiting so that none would be lost.... But we humans are so hard headed.... Jesus is where the focus should be....

Well, according to my neighbors, it's small.lol They are 5 farms in my area, my is the
smallest. The largest is, 42,000 acres, the rest are from 20,000 up to 42,000 acers.
People are scared of cows because of their size. The only time you think a cow is
chasing you is, when they get scared. You can walk in the pasture, they all will be laying
down, you start running away fron them, they get up and start running behind you.
They think something is chasing you, they don't want whatever is after you, to get
them.
We used to have my city kin folks to come out on Sunday, spend the day, fish, ride
the horses, and then have dinner. Those were some good days, most have passed on,
their kids, never see them.
My gran-kids have been here for 5 weeks, they leave going home at 7:00 am in the
morning. They love comming and spending time with us. The city kids don't have
any idea what they are missing. We don't have a lot of crime here in the country,
the crooks are afraid they will be shot, most would.
Sorry for the long post, tried to cover what you were talking about.
Thank you so much for the time you took to respond to all I said; no need to apologize, as I very much appreciate it, and love hearing people's stories. (You may have noticed that I also ruminate and make long posts at times :)) I spent the day with my daughter; just before dinner she allowed me to use her laptop to go online, and I read some of our conversation to her... I was especially interested in what you said about cows coming after you if you start to run. I did not know that! 20,000 head sounds like a lot to me. It sounds like you have a wonderful life, one you have worked hard to achieve and maintain. I agree that city kids don't have any idea what they are missing. Both my parents were born and raised rurally, and for my dad this saying was true: you can take the boy out of the farm but you cannot take the farm out of the boy. Blessings to you on this day, and best wishes for a speedy recovery :)

Good morning all :)

So I'm looking at the prices for graduate school, and yikes... I didn't realize it was this much. The school I want to attend online is at least over 5200 alone just one semester, and that's not including any books I would need. I would love to start attending at the beginning of January 2016. I plan on talking to different schools on general once summer ends, but if y'all could be keeping me in your prayers as I move forward with this, I would appreciate. I'm going to need financial aid if I want to go back to school again.

good afternoon everyone, how is your Sunday going. It's been busy but fun for me, after a wonderful morning of worship I went to lunch with a friend and we went from there to a baptism which turned out to be a full service with buffet after - after lunching out I couldn't eat a thing! A wonderful God-filled day, actually a wonderful God-filled weekend and any "good" I might have done was simply the Holy Spirit's prompting - trust me there is no good in me without God.
