Hey Everyone,

I've decided I would really like to better understand the lives, thoughts, and emotions that 3-armed people go through.

However, no 3-armed people are allowed to post in this thread, please.

Personally, I'd like to see just how long we can keep the thread free of any bias from all the said 3-armed people.

However, if you have 1, 2, 4, 5, or 6 arms... Any OTHER number than 3... You are more than welcome to post.

And, I suppose this thread can be taken in two ways:

1. It could mean people who have 3 arms.

2. It could also mean people who are armed... in 3 different ways (knife, gun, and super-sharp pencil.)

Whichever one you take it as... IF YOU ARE PART OF EITHER ONE OF THOSE TWO PARTICULAR GROUPS, YOU ARE KINDLY ASKED NOT TO POST HERE.

Now. For everyone else... If you were a 3-armed person (taken within the 1st listed context), what kinds of difficulties do you think 3-armed people go through in their day-to-day life? What kinds of thoughts and emotions do you think they are going through?

If taking this in the 2nd context, if you were a 3-armed person... What 3 things would you want to arm yourself with?

And, how can I better understand their plight? Because I'm pretty sure that the rest of you are the most qualified ones to ask. :)

This thread is meant only as extreme humor to lighten the mood of the forum. Have fun with it! Let's all try to have a good laugh. Happy posting, and God bless. :)

All I can say is... After watching the threads for this past week...

Do any of us really have to ask why we're all single?!

Shoot. I'm out, then.
Now I REALLY want to see you in a tux. Or that Hawaiian shirt.

WAIT... What am I saying...

3-ARMED PERSON, GET OUT OF HERE!!! STOP POSTING IN MY THREAD!!!

I only want to understand you, not actually listen to what you have to say!!!

(Don't make me get my 2-sided paddle!)

There's no understanding the NukePooch. Great minds have tried, and failed.

(Okay, I won't post anymore.)

(No no no, Nuke. Come back.)

This is the part where we're each supposed to state our points of view... and totally not listen to each other. :p And then I continue to scold you for trying to tell me what you're thinking.

Good golly.

I feel like I just got married!

But you said that the NukePooch is not allowed to post here anymore.

(He didn't say anything above, and he won't say anymore.)

(That's the secret Nuke. I asked you not to but you're supposed to keep posting anyway.:p That's just how it goes.) And on and on, until we become best friends :).

Unspoken internet rules.

Right after you produce the secret handshake... and knock, of course.

Little Bit! So good to see you!!!

*hugs!*

*Hugging is a covert way to check out the pass/fail status of a potential poster.*

*Counting: 1... 2... Ok! We're good to go! Hands LB a pass.*

Can't afford to let anymore "tripods" sneak into the thread... (Look at what happened when one did!)

Why? What happened? The one that did left. He isn't here anymore posting about not posting anymore.

(He thought about posting, though, but then thought that he shouldn't think about thinking about it anymore. Thinking about thinking about posting is not a thought worth thinking, he thinks.)

Thank goodness.

We're trying to understand 3-armed people, and obviously, the LAST person we'd ever want here is an actual 3-armed person.

All that would do is disrupt the peace.

And it's not like THEY'D know anything about what we were talking about anyway... Duh.

Well, that's a relief. It's a good thing that there isn't any of those here.

(There might have been, at one time, but there isn't now, not that there had been, because the one that might or might not have been here has now gone to bed. So, you see, there is no way that anyone of those could have been here after this moment whether or not any were here before because when you're gone to bed, you can't be here before.)

This is yet another prime example of why, when trying to understand a certain population, you should never actually include a member of the population in your discussion.

Obviously they don't have anything to contribute and are way too confused to offer any insight anyway. ;)

I bet a three-armed person would be a killer typist... or pianist... Man, the "Flight of the Bumblebee" would finally be played RIGHT!

And he could pat himself on the back while using his other two hands for other stuff.

In the manner of armaments... I have neither gun, slingshot nor bow and arrow. All I have is my little utility knife. So I guess I count as one-armed.

But I'm reminded of a quote from a Star Trek: TNG book. Someone happens to mention that Klingons are never without their weapons, and usually have at least nine on them at any given time. Captain Picard says, "Worf, you don't have nine weapons on you do you?"
Worf: "Certainly not, sir."
Picard: "Ah, good." *pause* "Er... how many do you have on you?"
Worf: "Fourteen, sir. As chief security officer I need to be ready for anything."
