Oooh. Roller skates.

Oh, man, I wanted some roller skates so bad...wouldn't have done me a whole lot of good though, because I lived on a gravel road.

I used to go rollerskating every weekend. They had Christian Skate Night at the local rink. :)

I was a huge fan of The Cure in high school...Disintegration is still one of my favorite albums ever. The sound is huge throughout...

It's perfect on headphones in a dark room. Shut your eyes and open your ears.

Simply tremendous.

I could never do that... if music is playing I just feel the need to be doing something... cleaning, cooking, dancing, playing videogames, something, anything... but never standing still...

I was that Cali girl with huge hair, bright clothes and a love for Def Leppard, Poison, INXS, etc. Good Times!

I'm usually that way. I've gotta be doing something, even if it's Solitaire...but there's just something about that album that makes me want to shut everything else down and absorb.

(BTW, I've played 5245 games of Solitaire on my desktop, and I think I'm over 8K on my laptop...)

Mum told me about this song. Have you guys heard of them? They're an Aussie band.

Haven't heard of telephone booth, but telephone line by ELO is one of my favorite 80's classic rock tunes (and bands too).. :)

Well, I wasn't very old in the 80's

what I do remember is curled hair and that "everyone" wore colourful, comfy, bulky sweaters

Also, as I have been told growing up:
A Norwegian skier, Oddvar Brå, broke his ski staff just at the final stretch in 82, it sparked the saying "Where were you when Oddvar Brå broke the (his) staff?" He won a shared gold medal.

I dont recall alot from the 80s, then again, where I was raised, I'd say we were still living the 50s or something;) during the 80s and 90s, and I think that place has maybe made it to the year of 2000 by now:p

80s right?
What's so special about He-Man? Just an early form of gay brainwashing for kids.
(I 'm glad I never watched that show) XD
