This might develop into a contentious thread, but that isn't the intent. I occasionally watch such things as I try to keep up with the political landscape.
This preacher isn't cursing, but is what he saying profanity? I am not sure the context he is aiming for. I know that I agree with where he is going with the speech, but not sure about his method in approaching it.
You decide and you tell me what you think.

Wow.......The guy definitely does not mince words hey! If a white guy got up and said that they would have him so deep in prison for racial slurs that the only light he would see is if he lit a match!

Pastor Macon is not addressing the Caucasian or the Asian segments of the populace! He is not even addressing the entirety of the 'Black' segment of the populace! He is specifically addressing those in the 'Black' community who identiy with the word 'nigga'; which means something entirely different coming from a 'black' man than 'nigger' does coming from a white man. Most 'black' people in America do NOT identify with the word 'nigga'; but those who accept Farikan's preaching come from among those who do.

This sermon from from pastor Macon is addressed to a subculture within the 'Black' community that White and Asian Americans have little or no knowledge of; and are not in a position to critique.

Does anyone remember when Obama ran for president and shortly after he got elected people asked him about the church that he had been going to for years? The pastor was notorius for running America down, yet every time he was asked about that he just couldn't remember anything about that.

I don't think he is a Christian and I think he really hates America.

Actually, being a Marine I have hung around quite a few black men and I have numerous friends who are black.....my point stands...If a white dude said that the NAACP would have them crucified and or hung from the nearest bridge......

that was Manning, not Macon, talking "nigga" -- something he says about 360 times a day:

and that was Louis Farrakhan - a Muslim - calling the president Messiah.

just so we're on the same page.

so yeah, Marc, you're right, just had the names wrong & yeah Willie, where i live, crackers are a minority, so i'm not offended by language - i just keep context in mind.

Many years ago, I was in a conversation with a 'Black' man who suspected me of prejudice.

I told him: " The difference between us is that when a White man calls you 'nigger', you rightly take it as an insult; and when a 'Black' man calls me 'nigga', I take it as a compliment."

That was all it took to persuade him that I was NOT prejudiced.

Thank you for the correction. I have a minor hearing loss; and his mention of his name went by too fast for me.

No disrespect was intended!

Nobody in here would go to a restaurant & allow the waitress to serve your food on a garbage can lid.

Why in the world would anyone listen to either of these "so-called" preachers?
