I'm blessed I don't have Mondays, I guess, or all my days could be Monday.
I did a post between 4&6 am about Mondays. I guess it got covered up.

Doing good, Sunday is my best day. Go to church and see my church family,
come home, and have a great dinner. Had company yesterday, don't mind
company, but yesterday we had a house full. It can get stressfull, with that
many people.

My son is in your neck of the woods today. He sure wants to leave today,
and get back home.
I will look for the post. :)

If I had your lungs, that would be real bad for you.
You still have a lot of life to live. I'll be fine, I have
Jesus, he'll see me through.

As far as tv, we watch the Halmark channel, good
family, christian shows. Of course, I don't watch a
lot of tv.

You can sing to me anytime you like. I do like gospel
music, not that hard rock gospel either.

I'm sorry, I thought you knew. I'm in stage 4 COPD, the only cure is
for God to heal me. I've been on the transplant list comming up on 6
years. The last time that I checked, I was # 54,756. So, as you see
their is a lot of people ahead of me. They do less than 1,000 trans-
plants a year. No lungs, no transplants.
Thank you for your prayers, they mean a lot.

Frank...
...I dunno what to say to you :( All I can say is "thank God for giving us Jesus". If you have Jesus - which I know you do there is no fear - only glory. Lots of prayers going out for you tonight.

I am kidding Frank...
Bout the Hallmark channel

What my point was
Yes Hallmark channel and Waltons is fine and dandy
Just too perfect for my taste
I see the most beauty in imperfection
People that make mistakes and are redeemed
Are beautiful
Because they are real

MPW, you don't have to say anything, I know you will be praying
for me. We, as christians pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Rest assured, I have Jesus, as to why I'm not affraid of death. For
me to live, I have to die. It will come in Gods timing, not mine. I will
do everything the Holy Spirit directs me to do until that time.
Again thanks for your prayers.

We have over 1,000 chanels, we watch 3-4. They are all christian
chanels. We also have pay per view, new movies that just came out.
I like the UP chanel, it's like Halmark, maybe a little better.
Everyone has their on type of shows they like, that's just what we like.
We do watch the local news, some days, I should'nt have turned the
news on. It's getting worse by the day all across the world, Jesus is
comming back soon I believe, the world can't stand much longer.

Oh, I did not know the details either, but saw a few days ago that you said you had 15% use of your lung capacity. I will pray for your healing. I was diagnosed with COPD less than a year ago, shortly after I quit smoking. I smoked for 24 years the first time, and then after quitting for seven years, started again and continued for another thirteen years. They told me my COPD was in early stages and was possibly reversible, but I use a puffer just so I can walk to my car comfortably, and it does help, and seems to be getting a little easier over time. I used to wonder, if this is early stage, what does more advanced look like? For even the slightest bit of exertion was taxing. I was using Salbutamol, and then was told it is not for daily use, so am now using one that delivers a cortisone steroid, which I am not happy about but I need to breathe, so, what are my options? I was a slave to cigarettes for far too long, and enjoyed smoking other things as well, mostly illegal substances that are now becoming more and more socially acceptable, and being openly sold everywhere in my country, despite the fact that their status as far as the law is concerned has not changed, except in the use of these substances for medical purposes. I am told that at the dispensaries, which are about as numerous as coffee shops, there are doctors who will write you a prescription on pretty much any pretext if you want one. This is the world we live in. Things that are now openly mainstream are the things my parents tried to protect me from when I was growing up. I have never been one to say, oh, these are signs that the end is coming, but it does give one pause. People love their sin, and only Grace can deliver us from it.

I hope they caught it early enough. They may be able to get it under control.
I will be praying for you also.

Mine didn't come from smoking. My was job related, I was a paramedic. I went on a
call one morning, we had 7 people down. They were in the basement of a power plant.
No one on site could tell us why, we walked over to see what we had. The area had a lot
of chemical smell comimg from it. One minute later, my partner and myself was on the
ground. Our lungs had collapsed, later in life, in turned into COPD.
We lost 6 of the men in that basement that day, just about lost us to. I was still a paramedic
for 6 more years. I quit and started farming full time.

Thank you for your prayers to cover my slavery to stupidity.

Wow, you are fortunate just to be alive, then! That is amazing that you stayed on the job for so many years after. Have you gotten any financial compensation because of it? Please don't feel you have to answer if my question is too impertinent. I just hope something was done by the worldly powers that be to try to help you.

There was a story in our daily newspaper just last week about the traumas faced by first responders, and the suicide rates connected to such, how they are increasing, and need more attention to be paid to the seriousness of such. I think I would prefer farm life to all that, as well. Life is full of tragedy, sadness, loss, and sorrow. Planting things and watching them grow til harvest time seems a much gentler way. Or keeping 1,200 head of cattle. The clean wide open quiet spaces compared to the cramped dirty squalor of noisy city life. Gosh, I miss the country.

I cannot count how many times I may have almost died. I was in a smoke inhalation incident once where I ended up comatose for almost 12 hours, and woke up hyperventilating. I lost my voice for a full month following that incident. The only think I can think sometimes is that God has some plan for me. I am sure he has some awesome plan for you, too :)
