Good point, sister. I hate flying (I find it unpleasant and anxiety-inducing) and I don't have friends who want to go to NZ. I think that's the long and short of it.

Wow... if I lived that close I would probably have signed up to play extra in the movies!!! huahuahuahua

But from here it's like a 40 hour flight... not pleasant...

I have many friends who would love to go, but none who are willing to pay the $$$ to go... so...

But, since I'm not one to be intimidated by the lack of company, I'll go next year... Just need to gather the money (again) and not let anybody convince me to go on any other trips... ok... that will be hard....but...

Carol,

I can't imagine being on a 40 hour flight....Ugh! I'm in NC and the total flight time to Australia was like 28 hours! Would love to go back to Australia and visit New Zealand next time!

Carol, at the very most Brazil to New Zealand should be about a 25-hour trip. As for being intimidated by the idea of flying alone to another country, that's okay. And to want to enjoy a holiday with others eg. friends, that's okay too. I would've loved to have been an extra in The Lord of the Rings.

Yeah... the problem is the layovers... :( there's no direct flight!!! You have to make a gazillion stops and they all last forever!!! :(

Ok... googling NC............... oh, North Carolina!!! :D It always makes me smile when I read my name in your States... huehuehueheu

Wow!!! You've been to Australia!!! I always think about the combo New Zealand/Australia because of the time it takes to get there...

I was planning on going this year, but the prices on the flights got so high, that I ended up changing the plan... so I'm going to Florida with the family and then to São Paulo with some friends... :D It's not Middle-earth, but it will be fun!! :D

Oh, bummer. That's not cool. Bring a good book and some good music (maybe Tolkien-related).
When I go I'll take the whole package with me... books, audiobooks, movies, music, smartphone games... maybe I'll even buy a psp just for the occasion... :D I can't sleep on airplanes, and I am easily bored, so...

I'm not the kind of person that will try to talk to the people next to me on a flight... I heartly respect another's personal space!! However, if the person next to me encourages me to talk.... oh... poor thing... hahahahahahahaha

Well, I have some. Main one is to get out of state and see snow for the first time (kinda can kill two birds with one stone). Another would be to travel to Italy, since I'm part Italian. I'd love to learn more about my culture and speak my language. I know you can learn a foreign language aa home, but it's different when you get to experience the culture.

Travel as far and as much as I can
Take beautiful pictures
Eat good food
Meet new people
Exercise more
Try new things
Learn new things
Risk some more
Good NEWS here!

If you ever traveled to South America (or as far as I am)

Could I help you with those blued items?

Perhaps, the red one, could be done... (when you run). :p
