Was perfection.

He fought temptation
Because
His reason
Was even yesss Jason...
To die on the cross
So someday you shall find
Nothing better with your time
Than punish US for we call you 'dude'

Well let me say dude!
Call me what you like
You will never hurt me
For I LOVE people

By the way
I may be inclined to toss a little Pauly Shore in
Just for you Jason

I believe God calls us to holiness and not unrighteousness. This is what one will naturally want to do if they are saved.
But ya don't tell your hidden desires
Every man has...
Oh yes !

Sorry Jason

I know many men
And I dont date them

My true joy is in CC
Where they LOVE me for my heart!

Your argument is moot as no one is saying what you are bloviating about.....and the only stand you have, which is a straw man against eternal security, is the weak argument that states....One who believes in eternal security believes in a life of sin and still be saved whiney gripe.....The bible teaches clearly that the eternally saved and sealed born again spirit is housed in a sinful fallen wicked body and that body does and will sin at some time or another.....so...you are blind to this, along with a few others I might add, and your sinless, working for salvation pseudo lite gospel is false and a gospel with no power to save......

Why not talk about the questions in the original post with Scripture instead of talking about me? I encourage you to go back to the OP and answer it with the Word.
They have been answered by me, sirk, eternally grateful, crossnotes, skylove, wounded warrior, peaceful believer, Utah, 3scoreand10, and about 2 dozen more plus CC members in this thread as well as others, who collectively probably have 1000 plus years experience studying the bible and your blindness precludes you from understanding the truth as you are blinded by your own coined gospel.......and your own Jesus which is not the Jesus of the bible!

OSAS leads people into thinking they can sin and still be saved. That is a licentious gospel. For you take away the consequences of sin, then people can think they can commit suicide and be saved and or do other wrong things and be saved. Many here have already admitted openly in a poll that they can die in unrepentant sin and still be saved.

Do you believe you can die in unrepentant sin (Such as lying etc) and still be saved? - View Poll Results
Again the usual mischaracterization of eternal security of the believer. It is not a licentious doctrine but men are. God is not capricious. God always acts within His perfect eternal character.

Some people think they can manipulate God if they quote His word and make applications according to their wisdom all the while they deny the wisdom of God.

FYI God does not take polls nor does God change His grace to reflect the results of any poll.

You either get saved according to grace or you perish in your sin and have an eternal abiding place in the lake of fire.

why did christ wait 30 years before going into ministry, more meology from the expert
He didn't wait....at 12 he was in the temple ministering with the braintrust..His personality was around for His whole life, many things not noted in Scripture, does your grandson if you have one, minister to you? Regardless of his education yet? ..Jesus' life I am sure was a blessing thru-out. Even when the Lord who knew the names of every star, who had to learn how to talk. "Baby Jesus this is a cup, can you say cup?" From Mom, ministers to all even now in the fact this beautiful humanity displayed is such a common ground ministry to us all. It is nothing short of a blessing, for He was indeed human/God His ministry that lead to His sacrifice started at thirty because that was Gods timing, Period. If you have a problem with Gods timing I'm sorry. This had nothing to do with the point of the post however, but I hope you can see my point on your example. God bless you richly!

I agree...I call everyone dude and no one I know gets offended about it....maybe their level of maturity makes the difference....

Or maybe your level of intimidation makes them uneasy to respond. Regardless, is this your scriptural understanding of the way to act? Regardless of your callousness toward it? Pliability is hard to see in you my friend. I wonder some times if you are here to be taught by God or teach others what you have achieved in the Word. Your tone is that of a bully, regardless of what you say your heart is in it. God would have the edge be softened, your world- compared improvements are not a reflexion of our Lord in you.The Word describes plainly His attributes and character, and demeanor. We all have different personalities, but the single-mindedness of God should be evident in us all.

No actually my tone is not known by you as you cannot see facial expression and or judge motive and or tone over the internet unless it is obvious....and if you have read anything I have written I make blunt, truthful statements and there are only a few people on here who I regularly rake over the coals and their obvious twist of the word and what other people say and personal snide attacks which are veiled in niceness is the reason I cut them no slack.....Now to the intimidation....everyone who knows me personally would laugh at your judgmental opinion, which is not based upon facts friend...and they would tell you I am a nice guy, funny, likes to joke around and will tell you straight up without bias and or pretention....believe what you will....and your right...God calls many kinds...some were soft and lovey dovey and some were sons of thunder.....judge not before the time........

You say that your gospel is not a licentous gospel, but you have yet to prove to me that is not what you are teaching. Put my mind at rest and ease and lay it all out in how your belief lines up with God's goodness and righteousness and answer a few questions for me directly.

Can you die in unrepentant sin and still be saved?
Can you be out of fellowship (no doubt because of sin) and be saved?
Is all future sin paid for whereby I do not have to confess or forsake sin?
Can I refuse to let Christ do the "good work" in me (in what He wants me to do for Him) and be saved?
In Matthew 6:15, Jesus says I must forgive, I will not be forgiven by the Father.
Do all believers automatically forgive, if so, then who was Jesus talking to?
Do you believe Jesus' words do not apply anymore, if so, then why does Paul say in 1 Timothy 6:3-4 that if any man speaks contrary to the words of Jesus Christ and the doctrine of Godliness is proud and knows nothing?

I found the answers to the above questions in the lives of the original Apostles...by how they dealt with those issues. Paul addresses several of them directly. Other answers can be found within ourselves. For instance, I have been out of fellowship and yes, was still saved. No, ALL Christians do not automatically instantly forgive others....for if they did, JESUS would have never mentioned forgiveness at all nor would HE have a reason to. Some of these answers are COMMON SENSE...very rare these days..for sure! The last question is already answered.

This is not the first time someone has called you a bully. This is also not the first time others have had a problem with how you treat them here wrongfully. It is just that you cannot see that what you do is wrong. For example: do all villains really see themselves as bad guys? No. They justify their evil actions as being good. I beg you. Please take a step back for a moment and pray about how you talk to others here and look at yourself from a third person perspective. Would you like to be treated in the same you treat others here? Turn your words of attack back upon your self and see how it feels, my friend. Ask yourself. Is this is how I would want people to talk to me? For it is one thing to reprove people generally about a wrong belief and it is quite another to push people down in the mud and make it a personal inquistion against them.

Are you guys 12 in 6th grade...I am blunt period....I don't play stupid games as eternity is at stake....You guys can dish it out all veiled and under questions or mouthy assumed comments and when you get called out for it you start crying foul.....And what is funny is out of the 3 or four times someone has judge me and pulled the bully card it has been the workers for salvation crew or the sinless perfection crew.....your words Jason do not cut me...nor am I convicted by your post or the post above....the bible is clear...many men, inspired of God used sarcasm and sarcastic remarks, used words like hypocrites, white washed coffins, blind, lost, workers of evil etc. and were inspired to do so.....So...those who are offended need to not be so easily offended....if you cannot deal with a little heat from me or others...what will you do when it really hits the fan in the near future for those who will make a stand for Christ.......? Fold, apostate from the faith and sell out to the beast and his system?

Actually, there are several passages that tell us that you cannot be out of fellowship with God and be saved.

#1. 1 John 5:12 says He that has the Son has life and He that does not have the Son does not have life. Life is associated with eternal life or salvation.

#2. John 17:3 says eternal life is in knowing the one true God, Jesus Christ. Knowing implies a fellowship. So if you don't know Jesus, then you don't have life (Salvation).

#3. Romans 8:9 says if he a man does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to him.

#4. Psalm 73:27 says God will destroy all those who abandon Him (or go a whoring from Him).

#5. John 15:6 says if a man does not abide in Him, he is cast forth and burned.

#6. 1 John 1:7 says if we walk in the Light as He is in the Light, the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.

#7. Romans 11:21-22 says if you do not continue in his goodness you will be cut off. For if God spared not the natural branches (i.e. the Jews), take heed that he can do the same to you (i.e. Gentile believers). The analogy here is that you are branch and Christ is the tree. We need to continue in Christ's righteousness or goodness, not our own righteousness or goodness, or we will be cut off because of unbelief.

However, the real questions are: How it is okay with God for you to be out of fellowship (no doubt because of sin) and still be saved? How exactly is that not a license to sin or God approving of your evil? How is it a good and moral thing for God to let you sin and still be saved?

No, ALL Christians do not automatically instantly forgive others....for if they did, JESUS would have never mentioned forgiveness at all nor would HE have a reason to. Some of these answers are COMMON SENSE...very rare these days..for sure! The last question is already answered.
Okay, (if I am understanding you correctly):, your saying those Christians who do not automatically instantly forgive others are forgiven? Would this not be in direct violation of what Jesus said in Matthew 6:15 when he said, "if you do not forgive, then the Father will not forgive you."? If you do not believe Matthew 6:15 applies anymore than what do you make of 1 Timothy 6:3-4 of Paul saying that if any man teaches contrary to the teachings of Jesus Christ and the doctrine of Godliness is proud and knows nothing?

Nothing I said was to hurt you in any way, but it was said in love to lead you to the Truth. For I wish the best possible good to befall even my enemies. The goodness of God (That is).

The passive aggressive folks..................they make me want to puke. Their probably in PM's right at this moment calling ya every name in the book and then come back in the forums, with hands clasped, a halo on, and type nice sweet words for all to see.

My first pastor pushed for the nice sweet personality switch. I would have to have a few days to decide if I wanted to go to the LoF or back to that misery if they were my only 2 options!!

It would be the height of lunacy to endeavor to prove anything to you. You are far too wise in your own conceits.

Part of human nature is to hate in others what we see in ourselves. This is one reason we must learn compassion and forgiveness toward others especially the less fortunate. Even on the cross He held it not against His malefactors.

KennethC - I agree with you here; several folks have slipped with their words -- not only one group of people.

Here's what I don't understand, lately EACH time I see one of your posts, you make reference to the above complaint (about people who are making personal attacks) but I never see you reference a specific individual. We're all people here, if you have a problem with something someone said -- confront that person. Let us know here. Send us a PM.

I haven't really seen anything that is blatantly offensive enough to deserve a ban - it is my opinion, that we should be able to resolve these instances without the intervention of an administrator. The problem I see is that we keep tossing out these general blanket statements, stating that "these people" or "those people" are doing such & such... Let's just squash it when it happens, instead of holding a grudge.
I have confronted those same 3 people over and over again and it has gotten nowhere, and I also have reported or tried to report two of them and again no avail.

I will call them out every time they escalate things to being disrespectful and unedifying, but I will not demean and belittle them to others unless I am asked straight out in a PM who I am referring to. But then I will only give their names but not talk ill will on them, as I would rather pray that God softens their heart.

I also agree with you that we do not need to involve the moderators all the time if we can handle it respectfully first, and those two that I tried to report I have asked constantly to please stop with those attacks and false allegations and even to apologize before just reporting them. I also put them on ignore and even took them off ignore to give another chance, one was put back on ignore because they blantantly would not stop again and the other I am debating on putting on ignore.

The 3 one I have not had much conversation with since !!!

Whenever someone condones evil, how can you sit idly by and say you are in approval of such an evil? For example: If someone told you that they raped and murdered and they thought it was okay and justified, would you not condemn their actions and tell them it is wrong? How is it any different if someone tells me that they think it is okay that God's Word approves of people continuing in their sin? Is God unrighteous? Did Jesus really mean what he said when he told the woman caught in the act of adultery to..."sin no more"? If I tell you to stop hitting my arm no more.... what does that mean to you? Does that mean you can keep hitting my arm? When a girl tells a man to stop advancing upon her sexually, does that mean the opposite of what she says? Why is it any different in what Jesus said when he said for the woman caught in the act of adultery to sin no more? What did Jesus say to the invalid man (who was crippled) after he healed him? Behold, you are made whole: "sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto you." Does it sound like there is a consequence to his sin if he continued to keep sinning? You betcha. It sure sounds like that. But you are saying he can keep on sinning? Yet, Jesus said, sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto you. Do you believe Ananais and Sapphirra were saved for lying against the Spirit? I know you think it is was blasphemy. But it really isn't. Blasphemy is speaking bad against the Spirit or God specifically. Lying before God is not blasphemy. It's called lying. For all sin is ultimatley done towards God (Psalm 51:4) (Genesis 20:6). God condemned them both physically and spiritually because He found their lie to be especially heinous and wicked. But my point is that God does not approve of a person continuing in sin. He cannot make an allowance for it because He is holy, just, good, and is not capable of it. For the moment we say God gives us permission to keep on sinning is the moment we drag God down to our sickening level of depravity. I believe such a thing is clearly wrong for those who want to see it; And just like murder, it IS a moral issue that I have a right by God's Word and in my good conscience with the Spirit to condemn such evil.
Where did I ever say I condone evil ???

That is a false statement from you toward me, and we are called by the Holy Spirit to be overseers of the flock, not condemn others of the flock even if they are walking improperly.

For we are called to exhort and edify after we have reproved and rebuked by using the word, but we are never to just up and straight out condemn others who do not agree with our understanding of scripture.

You do realize that the Holy Spirit may not have revealed that part of falling away or departing from the faith yet, and through us the Holy Spirit is bringing that message to them. Still if they don't accept what we give them on this subject it does not say condemn them from here. It says dust your feet off and move on and ignore them !!!
