I don't have any pictures yet... but my daughter's going to photograph all of her sons' hands and send the photos to me. I had said to her previously how I wish my grandsons were close by so I could watch their precious hands doing things like fishing, playing games, reading books, making things, etc. So she told me today that the photos will be on the way soon.

She also put her phone on speaker a few moments ago and led her boys in this song to me. I cried but she didn't know it. How beautiful their voices sounded together! They all shouted they love me, too! Wow, I feel sky high in my spirit right now. ♥

Oh, skylove. :( I'm so sorry that we came off as this when you're clearly hurting. This thread is filled with fun and laughter, and I guess we accidentally overlooked your pain. Please, forgive us. I'm so sorry that you are hurting and that you felt like we were "rejecting" you. This wasn't my heart's intent and I'm sure it wasn't anyone else's intention. We obviously do care about you and care about what is going on with your life.

It is always hard having people dying in your life and not having people really reaching out. Going through that is painful. I had someone very close to me die and I had to go back to college just a few days later when I was an RA and basically walked in this all by myself. I felt sick, physically, mentally, and spiritually. But, I know it's just because people didn't know. And the people who did know didn't know how to reach out. So, please know it wasn't intentional. We care, we want to reach out.

We didn't mean to come off as insensitive. I'd love to talk more with you via PM. Would you mind if I shoot you a message?

I can appreciate that you're going through a hard time, but this is not a prayer thread and nobody is being self-centered. I will definitely pray for you, I already have, and I don't mean to be insensitive, but you can't expect people to not be happy and post fun things, just because you feel they shouldn't.

Well, I know that's not what I'm about....at all. I enjoy fellowship and I love having deep theological discussions as much as having silly conversations. However, this is fellowship. Hanging out with fellow believers. I'm all about that! But, I am also a silly person. However, I don't need to explain that because it seems like you already have your mind made up about me :)

Again, I sincerely apologize for making you feel not valued. It wasn't my intention.

And I think Blue is a great person to talk to! :)

Sky I'm really sorry you're going through this. I know there's nothing we can say to help the process or make it easier. I know I didn't see anything, or else I would have prayed then and there. I am praying right now. I know I lost a professor just weeks before graduation Easter 2024, and I didn't know how I was going to be able to finish, but God brought me through it, and He will bring you through it too. Please don't leave. You've been a light to a lot of people on here.

Anyways, I have officially uploaded and edited videos for work and I am done for today. I am exhausted.

Beloved Sister Sky,

Things are not always what they appear to be on the surface. Melita has a tremendously wonderful sense of humor and yes, she talks about food a lot and the treadmill but don't be fooled. Almost every day she encourages me in pm and asks me if there's anything she can pray about. She has been praying for me and my family since I joined this site. I am blessed because Melita is trustworthy and what I share with her in private she does not make public. I'm sure other people share in private as well.

Melita is one of the sweetest, most faithful prayer warriors I've met on this site. Her faith is great and she loves Christ Jesus with all of her heart. I truly know this and I praise God for her constant abiding in Him. She has been only a blessing to my life.

i believe there's a misunderstanding, which happens a lot in the forums because it's all in writing, and tone can be misinterpreted.

skylove, we all love you. you have great compassion for others. i'm sorry for the misunderstanding. this thread is more lighthearted, so we talk about all kinds of things - a lot of them being silly topics. please know it was never our intention to over look the fact that others are hurting.
