Why wouldn't you........ scared you might find the truth?

You know for a fact huh? Show me where the Magisterium or the Catechism of the Catholic Church tells us to worship Mary. Gazing at a sunset—or a great painting of a sunset—and contemplating the greatness of God through the beauty of his creation is not idolatry. Nor is it idolatrous to look at statues of great saints of old in order to honor them for the great things God has done through them. It is no more idolatrous for us to desire to imitate their holy lives and honor them than it was for St. Paul to exhort the Corinthians to imitate his own holy life (1 Cor. 4:16) and to "esteem very highly" those who were "over [the Thessalonians] in the Lord and admonish [them]" (1 Thess. 5:12–13).

Very easily pal, because we don't worship Mary. Have you looked up yet in the Magisterium or the Catechism of the Catholic Church where it tells us to worship Mary?

This right here here shows you know nothing about The sacrament of Reconciliation.

In case you didn't know, after we are absolved of our sins, we pray the Act of Contrition prayer: "O, my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended you. I detest all my sins because of your just punishment, but most of all because they offend you, my God, who are all-good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Your grace, to sin no more and to avoid the near occasion of sin."

Don't know about you, but we Catholics beleive Jesus to be the second person of the Holy Trinity......God.

I highly doubt that. Lol! I've been to confession probably thousands of times, (yes, I'm a huge sinner) and never once have I had a priest "demand" penance upon me. Much less fifty Hail Mary's! Lol! Although on many occasions, my penance have been doing acts of charity such as, doing something nice for a stranger, call or vist a sick friend, go spend time with the lonely at a retirement community, ect.

Ahhhh.... Duh! We Catholics know Mary cannot forgive our sins. If you think we do, show me where the Magisterium or the Catechism of the Catholic Church tells us that she can. {rolling eyes} Now as for praying to Mary being a sin. Let me ask you this. Do you talk regularly with your pastor and ask him/her to pray for you? If so, I'm pretty sure your pastor doesn't turn you away by saying, "Don't talk to me! Don't ask me to pray for you! Go straight to Jesus!" No, i'm pretty sure your pastor has compassion and "intercedes" (stands in the gap) for him. I'm willing to bet He/she prays for the congregation and for individuals. He/she has compassion and wants to assist people in their relationship with Christ. This in no way diminishes Jesus' role as the Lord and Saviour.

You see, we Catholics dont beleive Heaven to be a "dead" place. Catholics believe people in heaven are alive. (Mat 19:29, 25:46, 10:17-22, Mk 10:30, Lk 10:25-30, Lk 18:18-30, Jn 3:15-16). We think Mary is totally alive, and is praying for us the way a faithful pastor would pray for his congregation, except much more so. She's interceding for the unborn, for mothers contemplating abortion, and for many others who are experiencing sorrows in our world, and who need Jesus.

Really??? I gotta ask...... what color is the sky in your world???

Its by the Magisterium that the Catholic Church proclaimed that only the Roman Catholic Church has all the Truths. One of these "truths" they proclaim was that Mary was without sin. But yet in the Scriptures God declares that ALL are sinners.

So now we have to ask. How can the Roman Catholic Church proclaim that Mary was without sin when God has said that ALL have sinned?

The Roman Catholic Church has put itself above God by declaring it has a "truth" that God does not have.

The Magisterium is nothing more than a ploy to allow the Roman Catholic Church to put itself above God and declare they ARE God. Why else would the Roman Catholic Church call God a liar?

The very fact that the Roman Catholic Church claims to have "truths" that are above God is telling us that today the Roman Catholic Church is nothing but a Cult following the teachings of Satan. Its Satan who said he will put his throne above God, and it is the Roman Catholic Church that says only they have all the Truths and God does not.

And yet you fordman defend the Roman Catholic Church to the death and toss God and His Truths away like so much trash!

I said it before and i will say it again, no Catholic will ever enter into Heaven as long as they put the teachings of the Catholic Church above God and His Truths!!!!!

And by the way fordman I an still MORE BLESSED THAN YOUR GOD MARY!

The ONLY thing God did through Mary, was give us Jesus.

She's interceding for the unborn, for mothers contemplating abortion, and for many others who are experiencing sorrows in our world, and who need Jesus.

Umm, no she is not. Mary does NOT pray for us. She does NOT intercede for us. Not to be disrespectful, but Mary is a pile of bones and ashes now in a grave somewhere. Her soul may be alive in heaven, but she DOES not hear, answer or intercede our prayers. THE ONE AND ONLY intercedent is JESUS. It is JESUS whom you should be praying to and asking intercedence from, not Mary. As long as you trust in MARY to answer your prayers, you will find yourself gravely mistaken and don't be surprised to not get an answer from her.

All = the whole, entire, total amount, every member, every person.

The Definition of ALL is every person!

God clearly says Mary was a sinner because ALL includes Mary. Now i can understand if English is your second language that you would have a problem understanding the meaning of the word ALL.

Lets see now fordman, who is the liar the Catholic Church or God? Clearly God DID say that Mary was a sinner by using the word ALL. Its the Catholic Church that is lying fordman.

I totally understand how difficult reading the Scriptures man be for you fordman. Maybe you should ask your mommy or you daddy to read it to you and explain what the words in the Bible means.

The "Hail Mary" Prayer is a good example of the Catholics worshiping Mary. The "Hail Mary" Prayer is made up of words randomly taken out of a dictionary.

No where in the Scriptures will you find the Prayer "Hail Mary" in its entirety.

Tell me mwc68, who really is your God? All i see from you is Mary this and Pope Francis that. I have yet to hear anything from you about how God is you one and only God.

I totally understand how difficult it is to break out of a Cult, especially a Cult that encourages you to Worship Mary as your God. But you really need to focus on God only and reject Mary and reject the Catholic Church and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and follow Him only!

Very few people ever leave a Cult. Once in a Cult they are doomed for life in that Cult. But you must try your best to leave the Catholic Church and embrace Jesus Christ as your God.
