Yeh, you should pay attention to context

WASHED, SANCTIFIED and JUSTIFIED are all in past tense.

With eternal consequence, and the righteousness of God with out the law has been applied unto the believer by faith eternally.
Those that are considered unrighteous lack biblical saving faith, and still in their sins.

And the last time I checked the bible teaches Jesus saves to the uttermost and eternally.
What part of WERE used to be sinners do you not understand? What part of.... the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God do you not understand? What part of.... be not deceived do you not understand? The context of those who are sanctified in this passage is ONLY talking about those who are righteous and who WERE sinners in their past old life (And not in their new life). For Paul says, be not deceived the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God.

John 3:20 says, he that does evil hates the light. So if you do evil (thinking your saved), you actually hate the light (According to the Bible).

Also, all those who claim to be a part of Christ's Kingdom and remain in their sin will be removed at the Judgment by Christ's angels, too.

Matthew 13:41-42
"The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."

In other words, in order to make 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 say that all your current or future rebellion against God is covered by God's grace, you have to ignore certain words in the passage like: WERE (as in reference to them being sinners in the past) and words like "The unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God."

Also, when Jesus says to..."sin no more", He actually means what He said. Jesus did not lie when He said to others to...."sin no more." For Christians say you cannot...."sin no more." Yet Jesus says the exact opposite. Who am I going to believe? Jesus? or the false believers of today? I am gonna trust Jesus.

Jesus does not want us to sin because it is BAD!
It doesn't mean that we are not saved if we sin.

Sin causes all sorts of problems in our lives and just like you would say to your own child if he did something wrong....you would tell them not to do it again.
He was a living example of how we should be.
It's not like he would say ohhh it's ok you can do it again....

There are many examples in the bible where many men and women who continued to sin were saved.
If that were the case we would not make it into heaven.....
You sin, I sin we all sin.

That is why he said he who does not sin cast the first stone!
Amen to that...of course he rejects Johns writings as well, because if he admitted the truth he would have to admit he is a false teacher...sinless perfectionism is not a doctrine of God.....but rather a doctrine of demons...!

He will never get it...he is blind to the truth that it is the spirit that is born again, doesn't sin, is eternally sealed, justified and sanctified in Christ, while being bound in a body that is sinful and fallen and still fails and sins....in his own mind he has to help Jesus save himself....oblivious to the fact that Christ has reconciled all who are of faith unto God before the casting down of the world and the word uttermost means exactly that...........

What do you think they say? Is there connection between them? Did not Hagar make fun of Isaac and or mock him? How do you think that relates with those believers who are mocking towards other believers today when you read Galatians 4:28-31 (with a special focus on verse 29)?
Is there not the least bit of humor in your heart?
Do you not laugh at all?

You have sinned, Jason. Your attitude is sinful. Repent.

I laugh and smile all the time. However, there is a difference between playing around in a loving way with someone you care about in love and poking insults at another mockingly (with laughter). So no, dear sir. It is you who needs to repent.

No, Jesus did not die for all your present and future sin (Whereby you do not need to confess or repent of it).
Jesus died for sin, Jason. He died for sin. Jesus is the only sacrifice for sin Jason.
Jason, you do not drive the speed limit. You have sinned. And you will continue to break traffic laws. Jason, are still engaged or married? I haven't checked your profile recently.

Have you not had any thoughts toward your wife to be? If you haven't, then you are not human. If you have never had any lust toward her, you are not human. Or, and I mean no harm, your testosterone levels are extremely low.

Jason, how much time do you spend on CC? Seems like you are a monk, a hermit, a person who has separated himself from the lost and believes that purity and holiness can only be achieved through a monastery. You are wrong.

Jason, you will sin in the future. Since Jesus did not die for sin for all time, you have no forgiveness. You can do all the repenting you want, but it will do YOU NO GOOD. Why? Because the blood was not for the future.

Jason, you are not as HOLY as you THINK you are. Your attitude stinks. It does.

Have I become your enemy because I tell you the truth?
O foolish Jason, who hath bewitched?

Jason, if we sin. If we sin. That points to the future. If we sin. That's in the bible. 1 John 1. Read it. IF WE SIN.

You have judged me. You have misjudged. Yes you have. Repent. You have no idea what I found funny.
By the way, you continue to wear an arrogant look. You, dear sir, need to repent for arrogance.

First, no verse in the Bible says present or future sin is automatically forgiven for a believer. Hence, why we are told to confess our sins in order to be forgiven of our sins (1 John 1:9). For he that confesses and forsakes sin shall have mercy (Proverbs 28:13).

Second, not all sin is the same. Do a study on 1 John 5:16-18. It says there are sins unto death and sins that do not lead unto death. Sins unto death are the sins that Paul lists several times in the New Testament (Galatians 5, Ephesians 5, 1 Coritnians 6, Colossians 3 and Romans 1). Paul says in Romans 1 that those who do such sins are worthy of death. John lists these sins in Revelation 21:8, as well. He says these sins lead unto the "Second DEATH" (i.e. the Lake of Fire). Paul says, be not deceived, the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God. John says in John 3:20 that everyone who does evil hates the light. 1 John 2:4 says he that says he knows him and does not keep his commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him.

If you knew you had one week to live, what would be different in your life with God?

Would you be walking the more straight and narrow?

Would you still be continuing to live life as if you were floating along?

Would you actually strive to stop sinning more and more and live righteously in things you want to do for God?

This question applies to me just as does to everyone else here. It is a reality check. Even for me. So I am not above my own question (or questions). What I am saying is that we all need to examine ourselves more and ask God to help us to live more for Him.

Now, the question is: What would you be doing?

Living for the LORD in all you do in complete dedication in that last week?

Or would you be putting on one of those squirrel outfits so as to fly down the side of a mountain?

Or would it be just you and your family having family time only?

Granted, I am not saying there is not a time and place for everything like Ecclesiastes talks about, but what is the normal every day way we are living? What are we in complete dedication to day in and day out?

Anyways, I am wishing nothing but good things from the LORD Jesus Christ upon everyone here.
May His love shine upon you and give you warmth in your heart and life.

Please be well.

Sincerely,

~ Jason.

If I had one week to live, I would make sure that I have kept my word in previous threads before starting new threads in order to continue to talk in circles and press my seemingly self-righteous agenda upon others.

It's no news that Christ gives victory over sins. But to everyone it doesn't happen overnight, but we still sin. And as we mature we sin less and the sin has less grip in our lives. And even we would not yet be perfect our sin is still forgiven always.
That's what living in grace means.

2Pe 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Jason, read chapters 1-5 of 1 Corinthians. Does such an interpretation of yours line up with those chapters?

Stay with this Jason. Come on. Let's stay with the context okay. Now you brought it up, so let's go with this.

Tie in chapters 1-5 with your statement. Don't be like a frog and hop from one place to another. Stay with the context. Read all about the sin in the church at Corinth. All that was listed by the apostle Paul. You left out a full five chapters that do NOT support your false doctrine.

Dear sir, please address this.

By the way, never have I called you what you have supposed. The way you read and interpret the bible, no wonder you misunderstand so much from the responses.

Metaphor: Go tell Herod that Fox
Simile: The Kingdom of heaven is like...

Jason, what is your biblical hermeneutics?

Tell you what. Let's hash out 1 Corinthians 1-5 upon the basis of your response above, then I'll get a better idea.

Jason, does "If we sin" apply to you?

Coming from you WW, that's a bit odd. I mean don't you operate in circles. Kinda like hovering in air.

Here's your response that prompted my response above. Here it is Jason. Compare it to what you just wrote. You like to play games with scriptures.

Let's go through 1 Corinthians 1-5 and we'll let your comments on 1 Corinthians 6 tag along.

Now here's your first statements about future sins:

"No, Jesus did not die for all your present and future sin (Whereby you do not need to confess or repent of it). For why on Earth would Jesus tell others to repent if that was the case? Do you know how Jesus defined repentance? Jesus said the Ninevites will rise up against this evil generation because they repented at the preaching of Jonah. If you were to turn to the end of Jonah chapter 3, you would see that the Ninevites had turned from their evil and wicked ways as a part of their repentance. In fact, Jesus said to the woman caught in the act of adultery to.... "sin no more." I am pretty sure that means to stop sinning. Jesus even said this same thing to the lame man whereby Jesus healed his legs. Jesus said for him to sin no more, otherwise a worse thing could befall him. Does it sound like Jesus wanted him to sin again? "
