My daughter just bought a bunch of chocolate covered coffee beans, but I have never liked those... in fact, even when I drank coffee, people used to accuse me of not really liking coffee at all because of how sweet and creamy I would make it... not to mention all the years I drank decaf LOL... Swiss water process organic fair trade decaf, that is ;)

Just popping in to jot down a memo to myself to read later...
Michelle... remember what comes to you is not what defiles you, it's what comes from you that reveals what is truly in you..remember that while you stood facing giants today in the world, things coming from them does not define who you truly are.. all sorts of things will come at you from the world but I AM is the one who is your creator.. I AM THE ONE who fashioned you from My OWN hands... remember that if you are rejected, It is really Me who has been rejected first, as all first fruits from each of you, first comes to Me. Do today in rememberance of Me.. Whatever is said or done towards you today is first an act and an offering towards Me. I will be the judge of such things...Walk in the manner I have set before you.. walk in the way I wish for you to go and that is to release My Peace, My kindness, My forgiveness, My patience, My mercy... nothing they do can touch the supply I have given to you.. the world is limited in these riches because I am the supplier and they do not come to me for their supply..their supply is limited but you have a true supply that comes from me.. release this supply in the abundance I have given to you in this day.. My supply is sufficient for you..I close doors when I am ready for you to move.. I also open doors I want you to walk into.. if a door is closing today remember this is not the end... it's just a turn in the way I want you to go.. trust that it is My Hand guiding you.. I know the way and have already ordered the steps that go before you.. keep hold of My Hand and walk forward with Me.. Do not turn to the left or to the right to see what is speaking to you the are only distractions trying to keep you from listening to My Voice.. I have much to show you and still much to teach you .. I will not be absent in the room today I will not be set apart while they speak to you.. I will be present in the same room.. all they will say to you, will be spoken to me first.. allow me to evaluate it .. do not speak anything unless I tell you too.. remain and hide in me while in it.. for I AM your shield.. all arrows will fly by you and you will not be wounded by anything they say.. unconditional love is not based on the conditions it is in.. unconditional love is the standard of it's own set condition.. such conditions are in all of you but all do not know such.. you are the standard I want conditions to meet.. not arrogantly , not pridefully, not with a haughty attitude.. just set my simple kindness before their feet.. they will soon know who was truly before them.. and to me they will answer.. you are simply a vessel by which I work through... All I AM doing is working through you so allow them to see Me.. in all my power I seek no revenge... I am gentle by my own nature.. allow me to call them back through you.. if they refuse it isn't you they are refusing .. it's Me.. go in my peace.. go in my love and go in confidence that no matter what the outcome there will be a new beginning either way... I am looking at your heart towards Me in such things and I will put you in all types of situations to try it.. the heart above all things can be wicked.. keep your heart blameless before Me...

Well, I can't help with the rain, but I can pray that God will send some your way.

Praise God for your mom, and family coming home safe.
You get out of cooking, once again.

I second giving God all the praise and glory for the blessings that He has given
you.

How is Melita doing other wise?, glad you got over your sickness.

We haven't had much rain here this summer, and had water bans in place a while ago. But dry summer months are not much of an anomaly, despite the fact this used to be a rain forest. Now it is a glass and concrete jungle :p

Dentist took my tooth out monday. This morn is the least pain I've had in a week and a half. Glad that little deal is over.
Since I am able to smile some now, I thought I'd give others a smile. :)

In 1986, Peter Davies was on holiday in Kenya after graduating from Louisiana State University.
On a hike through the bush, he came across a young bull elephant standing with one leg raised in the air. The elephant seemed distressed, so Peter approached it very carefully. He got down on one knee, inspected the elephants foot, and found a large piece of wood deeply embedded in it. As carefully and as gently as he could, Peter worked the wood out with his knife, after which the elephant gingerly put down its foot.
The elephant turned to face the man and with a rather curious look on its face, stared at him for several tense moments. Peter stood frozen, thinking of nothing else but being trampled. Eventually the elephant trumpeted loudly, turned, and walked away. Peter never forgot that elephant or the events of that day.
Twenty years later, Peter was walking through the Chicago Zoo with his teenaged son. As they approached the elephant enclosure, one of the creatures turned and walked over to near where Peter and his son Cameron were standing. The large bull elephant stared at Peter, lifted its front foot off the ground, then put it down. The elephant did that several times and trumpeted loudly, all the while staring at the man.
Remembering the encounter in 1986, Peter could not help wondering if this was the same elephant. Peter summoned up his courage, climbed over the railing, and made his way into the enclosure. He walked right up to the elephant and stared back in wonder. The elephant trumpeted again, wrapped its trunk around one of Peter's legs and slammed him against the railing, killing him instantly.
Probably wasn't the same elephant.

There is such a thing as too much rain... sometimes around here, there's just so much rain that the river starts to overflow and it's crazy...

But I like rain... it's good... and when you can just stay in, lying on a hammock, reading a book... wow... that's perfect...
