God loves you, come just as you are.

"For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten Son
That whosoever believeth in Him
Should not perish, but have everlasting life."
- John 3:16

"Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot,
To thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!"

Here I am Lord
Is it I Lord?
I have heard you calling in the night
I will go Lord
If you lead me
I will hold your people in my heart

Brother, I love the Lord and am grateful for what you've shared, but we must go beyond simply telling the lost that God loves them; we need to do things to help them understand this glorious Truth. For some, simply reading this is enough to awaken their hearts, but for others, there needs to be more on our part. What say you.

Is the Holy Spirit impotent? Is God's Word impotent?

Jesus longs to come into your heart and have fellowship with you.

Rev 3
20) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21) To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Amen, brother. There is power in the Word;

1Cor 1:18 (KJV)
18) For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Isa 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Dear lost one, your family is dead, your home destroyed, you're now paralyzed from the neck down and you can no longer breathe without the assistance of a machine, but its all good, my name is crossnote, and God loves you. Am I going to help you some how? I just did, I told you God loves you and that's all I'll be doing for you. Have a nice day.

Utah, that's sort of a bait and switch on your part. The special circumstances wasn't originally stated so it was assumed we are sharing with a normally healthy person.
But if you think God's Word and Spirit needs our help under everyday circumstances carry on.

This Christianity business is messy. It often requires getting dirty by actually hugging a drunk covered with puke... not just preaching at him. Jesus reached out and touched the Leper.

Who among us is really "normal and healthy?"

My Brother, I would agree with you on the bait and switch part but for one thing, in my first post I stated that for some folks, reading (or hearing) the Word is all it takes to awaken their hearts, but for others there needs to be more on our part.

Sorry for the tone in post #8. I love and respect you a lot more than what I showed there.

God doesn't need us, obviously, but ministry is more than sharing words.

In the trenches, Bro. That's the Gospel in action.

The same God who loves you hates sin. With passion equal to the passion with which God loves you God hates sin. The very wrath of God abides on sin. Sin may ravage all that you have but unless you forsake it for Christ your sin will place you in the lake of fire. The lake of fire created not for you dear soul but for the devil and his angels. A place where the white hot wrath of God is poured out in all its fury upon sin.

The very same one who has worries about finances, or a child on drugs.

Yup, and Jesus did more than touch the leper, He healed them. How many lepers have you healed?

When working in the medical field you see these types of scenarios play out all the time. I currently have a 34 year old patient dying from cancer. She's a newlywed, a non-believer and very angry. She doesn't want to hear God loves her. Though its the Truth, she needs more than words. I'm praying God heals her body and soul so that she may rejoice in His glorious love for her, but for now, words mean nothing and being all warm and fuzzy ain't cuttin' it.

The OP is about LOST ones...only the gospel can cure. Sure a temporary fix of money and withdrawal program is nice but it still leaves one in hell without the Gospel.
