Mountains and Valleys
I stand upon the mountaintop, the valley has been long...
I look out over the rest of the road, and wonder if I am strong
I made the climb this far, I haven't given up
At times I've prayed that from me, God would take this cup
But still no choice have I, but to carry on and fight
I hide not from the shadows, I fear not the light
I don't know how I'll make it, or be the man I must
I only pray and keep the faith, and place in him my trust
I've failed before, you know its true, and I'm sure I'll fall again
But He'll be there when I get back up, I'll fight on through the pain
I know that He is with me, I know he'll bless the way
And I will walk with you, hand in hand, and pray for you every day
I'll never doubt that He is there, and I'll never turn my eye
I'll walk with you, and walk for Him, until the day I die
