You're 1,96?????????

That's so unfair... :( I just wanted 7cm more... just 7!!!!

Some with so much... others with so little...
I'm sorry. I'll try not to be so Germanic (Saxon) next time. :)

The awkward moment when you go shopping with a male co-worker for our work and a few sales people thought we were either dating or married.
It could be worse...

Once I went shopping with my dad, and the sales people thought we were a couple!!!! o_O

So disturbing...

Nah... it's fine... I just get frustrated with how (not) tall I am...

I have a friend who is 2,01m but whenever people ask him how tall he is, he always answers 1,99m... he thinks being above the 2m limit is too much... -.-

People should be able to donate unwanted centimeters, you know.....

Hey! Two can play at that game.

That awkward moment when America thinks they're a super-power and still happens to use the imperial system.

The metric system makes sense... it's easy... that's why pretty much the whole world uses it... except USA and the United Kingdom...

But we still love ya! :)

Try telling that to TinTin ;)

Ha, just teasing, Tin.

Missy, what's an awkward moment that has happened to you?
No worries, sister. I'm an Aussie. Teasing each other is a favourite past-time here.

Good stuff. Unfortunately, online clothes shopping wouldn't work for me, as I'm tall and lanky (196cm (6'5) and 85kg).
I can shop for you. My husband was 6'4", I know all the good places to shop. Even where to find long-sleeved shirts that actually fit those lanky arms. Bought a few for my single assistant pastor (he's a friend) because he's a bit older and not very internet savvy. He looks pretty good! :)

that awkward moment when you remember in elementary school having them talk to us about the metric system... and that we'd have to learn it, and the next year they were all... NEVER MIND.

I do weigh all of my baking ingredients in metric (grams) though. FAR more accurate than volume measure.
