1Ti 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
Don't you find it odd that you are emphasizing that Eve was deceived... and yet Jesus Christ reminds us that it was because of Adam the whole world fell? Are you not doing exactly what Adam did by blaming the woman as well as blaming God for creating the woman?

Uuuummmm........ if the 2 religions are "compatible"? I would be researching them for biblical correctness.

If she chooses to marry him on the basis of compatibility only, this could lead to idolatry, choosing him over God. This has happened millions of times, 'cuz the REAL truth is the woman does everything in her power to justify they're compatible.

Since she claims him to be perfect, I guess we have our answer.

You didn't answer my question.
Ok :) ...no im not blaming the woman anymore than Paul was when the Holy Spirit had him to write this ...

The point being that the scriptures establish that God desires that we honor His order in a godly relationship especially in spiritual matters. Do you think God or Paul was confused when this was written?

But if it comes down to the fact that I don't feel comfortable to be baptised into another church or I feel God leading me a different way then I feel as if there is no other option but to break up which would be a real shame.
Yes... it would be a shame, Lion, but there may be something AMAZING for you out there, that you can't even see yet, because you're not through this particular issue yet. And it sounds as if you've answered your own question.

If it seems as if a break-up is imminent... my advice is to do this rather soon, rather than waiting. Have enough respect for the both of you to not take another minute in a relationship that is not headed for permanence.

I'll answer your question when I witness you humbly submissive to Christ Jesus as Paul was. For now, I won't answer you according to your folly. You're not in the mindset to receive instruction from Paul, let alone dole out what you think he said. Also, I don't believe Paul flirted with women.

Yea...break-up with a godly and good man because he really believes what he really believes and what God clearly teaches.... this is why our society is in such a mess :(

Oh ..so now I have become ungodly to you..because I believe the bible? Its sad that even you Violet, play this game.

And I think you may learn more about my submission to Christ and His truth by my refusal to be moved from the truth... It might take you while to see what a godly man is because of your own rebellion, but in the end you will know that today you have met one. :)

The man doth protest too much.

My husband was a very godly man and went home with the Lord. My two sons are godly men. My father was a godly man. My 5 brothers are godly men. My daughter's husband is a godly man. My friends include godly men. I'm surrounded by godly men, praise Jesus! And guess what? Not one of them found it necessary to make a noisy proclamation about it because they are living examples. :)

I meant your trolling, Mitspa... because it's hard to understand if you're serious about this stuff or not. I'm going to assume you are, unless you state otherwise.

Well Sister Lion, I think we all have learned a very valuable lesson today. \:D/ Trust in the LORD with all your heart, do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge HIM and HE will direct your path. Glory to God!

And I'm outta here.............
