I think we were all surprised.....I had one time painted a mermaid on clay and fired it but it was not as pretty as the one on canvas.....was messing around in a pottery place several years ago....I wish I lived closer to my Niece, Julie as she is the one that told me what to do and the picture is traced with carbon paper on the canvas the main lines it is kind of like coloring in a coloring book only with a paint brush.... don't think that I drew that not a chance.....lol I did paint it though with Julie's instructions on what to do step by step.... took a day to do it probably 6 to 8 hours.....
