I don't, though. I never have pretended I was engaged. This was my first time. So, I don't know what you mean by saying, "You pretend you are engaged a hundred times a day."

I do apologize that you thought this was real. Jsr had said he had started the teasing and he apologized. Sky, I have reached out through PM and through threads. I love and care about you as a person and my heart breaks that you're going through such a tough time. Know that my intent is never to hurt you or to confuse you....but just to love on you.

sometimes, we miss out on context because some posts get lost as people reply.

i know i sometimes don't read all the post cuz so many add on, but if i don't understand something, i go back and read so i can know what's up :)

So, this happened, but no one was there to experience it and awkward moments by themselves are always lame. The awkward moment when you try to drink your bottled water and it spills all over you. Today is not my day, people. First, I drool. Then I spill water. Maybe I just need to go to my apartment and sleep.

Sky I was the one that joked about it being a wedding. I think you're getting mad at the wrong person. If anyone is to blame, it's me since I started it. As Katie mentioned, this just supposed to be a silly, fun thread.

SkyLove, time to let it go. This is a playful thread and these young people were teasing each other. You are stepping into shaming them for having fun. They have apologized that you were hurt, let you know that they are here in this moment to play, offered you care outside of the thread.

im sorry that there is stuff going on in your life that is hard, but life goes on around us. If you need prayer, ask for it, but stop scolding.

1) katie does not joke about being engaged on a daily basis. to be honest, this is the 1st time the subject ever happened.
2) because of the context of the posts (as in the convo going back and forth between individuals), we knew it was all in good fun. we knew it was kidding around.
3) because tone gets lost in writing, it's common that we have misunderstandings. those were clarified.

Sky I haven't seen one post of Katie's that says she's engaged.. I see a lot of posts of people teasing her about having "skills" with men, though. That's a big difference..

Sky I also think it was wrong of you to imply we don't care about others that are in pain and sick.. I have a member of my household in so much pain in the hospital right now from his cancer... You think I don't care about that? Am I supposed to just sit there 24/7... Or in my room 24/7 and not do a darn thing? I'm sorry but I really take offense to that.
