I was thinking about downloading Spell Check. Can someone offer any advice?
 
Spell check for what application? Many applications have spell check integrated.

Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 9?

Since IE9 has no integrated spell check, you will need to download and install a third party tool to add the feature.

You have some options, but the two most popular ones are ieSpell and Speckie. Here is an article with step-by-step instructions for installing speckie: How To Add Spell Checking Support to Internet Explorer 9 - Simple Help
 
Why do you still have IE9? The most current version is IE 11.. but IE sucks.. I use Opera, and Siberian, you just shoop about Opera.. :p
 
If you use Firefox you can click the bars at the menu and select ad- ons, then see if you find any spell checks there.
I assume there is a similar feature in most browsers if you look around the menus a bit.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like using that program (Speckie), I have to know the word is incorrectly spelled by clicking on it? I thought spell check programs hilighted the words automaticly.

No different than using a mapbook to try and figure out if you are lost or not :p

ieSpell will even automatically correct the word for you if you are only a letter or two off. You don't have to do a thing, just keep right on typing your post.

Haven't used it or ieSpell, personally. If either offers an autocorrect feature, they will advertise it. Maybe the ieSpell Willie suggested would work better for you.

It's just that I worry about downloading stuff because sometimes when you try to remove it, it has wrapped itself around other components and you can loose stuff you need to run other things.
