Why we still single?

I agree with you, what i mean was... i am a girl, and i am the one looking for love,i did it on my own, instead letting God, be God. And....that was my mistake.. i should seek HIS KINGDOM first, not seeking a man. That's what i mean.

The truth is...we need to be content with ourselves in Christ first and foremost because if we aren't...we end up assuming that an individual or significant other will be the one that fulfills us or makes us complete...too many of us (myself included at one point) believe that God has this "soul mate" (stupid term) out there for us...our "soul mate" is Jesus Christ...not Jane Doe, John Smith or whoever...it's Jesus and we already have him! Putting that into perspective, means changing what we are "looking" for. Instead of someone who will "complete" you, look for someone who sees you through the eyes of Jesus and will want to walk with you drawing you both closer and into a more intimate relationship with Christ...a marriage is not a 2 person thing...a marriage is Jesus you and that significant other...

I agree..marriage is all about Christ..it is not all about john smith or jane doe, all eyes are on Jesus, Let God be God..

I'm very self councious about it... I usually tend to think that the other person is just being polite or friendly... I'm the best at spoting someone interested in na third party, but I never assume someone is interested in me... :/

Maybe that's why I'm single... hehehehe

God will find someone when the time is right. I found my husband in 1993 and we married in 2001. Sadly he passed in 2013 from pneumonia following Alzheimer's. But I know that if God wants me to meet someone it will be in His time. Just be yourself and don't LOOK for a relationship, just enjoy companionship..
