Happy people are more attractive

They're always the life of the party, everyone calls them when they want to be entertained, and they always know how to deliver the joke.

But that's the thing--people most often want them for their own reasons: "Make ME laugh...", "Make ME feel better...", "Entertain ME." No one ever asks them how they really doing, and most wouldn't listen if that person really told them. Even when that person tries to tell others how they feel, and are being quite serious... Generally... most people will want them to go back to making everyone laugh because they can't handle or don't want to hear anything else except something "fun".

Sometimes, life just isn't funny.

Happy people are great. But I like knowing what's going on underneath the surface.

I'd rather work through a not-so-happy truth than a polished facade. And once I get to know the real person, and if they're willing to know the real me... Only after that can some decisions be made about whether or not we're good for each other.

WELL SAID!! What frustrates me is that there are always people who will like you for your jokes and the fun you create but the moment you get serious or share your sorrows, they all seem to run. I think this shows just how selfish our society really is. Nobody really cares about others when it comes down to it; it's all about what they can do for them.

But with that said, of course there are people who need to look on the bright side more often or just toughen up and move on but the reality is that this world is full of hurt and sadness so I don't see why it is considered so taboo to talk about it. And BTW, I'm not talking about complainers. Habitual complainers are usually just lazy entitled people who tend to bring everyone around them down. But never the less, I have still tried to be friends with them. The popular mentality of "push everyone who is not super positive and motivating out of your life" is very un-Christ-like.

Its funny that we can see happiness in others as a fault within ourselves? We should be happy...full of joy as believers. We have each other here on this forum...that should make some happy :)
 
Cats...so not my thing! So I'm good with that! No car attacks now. I'm simply more of a dog person!

I'll take the lady then that is 10 out of 10 and cheer her up with compliments and kisses (and if that don't work, there's always chocolate.)

Lol cheekiness aside, a fair point indeed. I think any upright man would want a woman that will be happy with him. Kind of pointless to date or be married to a woman that will only nag you the rest of your life. You could have that just staying single and hanging out with your mother (if your mother is as my mother lol).
 
Mitspa, lol you should've never said anything, you have heard of crazy cat ladies right? I have a feeling you are about to be snowed by kitty pics!!! Lol
