My shield doesn't work

Most of the compliments I've gotten in my life from acquaintances and strangers alike have been for my smile and for the light in my eyes. I know for certain it's Jesus they see because He is the source of all my joy. \:)/

Obviously didn't go over too well, but that "Huh?" was intended to be the punch line..... Sorry, my attempts at humor can sometimes be kind of vague.

Hahahaaa Nope cant even remember my own name.Got this pre-fall flu and been coughing my brains out.So I dont have enough left to get a punchline apparently.Hopefully the juices will crank back up after the flu and I'll catch the jokes a bit better.Not promising anything though.

that entire post was a good punch-line...I even heard the "ba-da-bump-bah" at the end! Good job!!!

Awww thank you! I appreciate it.Hubby and I are both down with it.I was feeling better Friday but I think relapsed. :( Just need a lot of rest.I dont think the meds do anything but make you sleep anyway.lol

Furthermore, I don't think my wife would appreciate me private messaging 15 yr old young ladies. :)

Also, I think I might need to learn better forum etiquette; while I don't think I blatantly broke any rules, I am not aware of any specific guidelines for forum communication.

OK Ive taken a deep breath & thought about things. I'm sorry - the post set off a trigger and so... apologies for the result.

The chatter asked for advice to improve his post. May I suggest that if a pic is necessary to illustrate a point, perhaps choose it from google image and not from someones profile or album and esp Dont label it as 'Zoii's profile pic' or whoever. That will diminish personal attachment to any particular point your trying to make. If you dont ... well i cant see your body language...I dont know you...so I can only go on MY inetreptation of words/pictures you use. I'm totally struggling with the comment about my avatar given i had jeans n tshirt n ensured it was totally out of focus - ie I was totally blurred.... but I'll drop it.

As for the rest of comments - yea I got up some teen anger n realise I was like some run-away train. My personal appearance n mens comments about it...I realise I am super sensitive about it *work in progress* n dont handle being around guys let alone being confronted by them in a way i think might be personal.... intended or not by that person. Gosh I usually try to be so measured..wow... the points about dont write while ur annoyed - hmmm I'm thinking that was good advice
I'm rambling - Summary: sorry everyone esp to OP

It is not the mourning year that you need but Healing from the passing on of your husband. Only GOD can truly Heal you and see you through. There is nothing wrong with mourning tradition or not. But Healing must take place. So know I'm not going against your tradition. Just advising you to seek Healing which will help you in moving forward whether it be for marriage or not. Do what makes you feel comfortable.
