Will you be happy doing the job that pays nearly double? That is the real question. If not;short term it will tie you over till the right one comes along.

Theres nothing worse than getting up 5 days a week and going to a job where you are miserable. Been there done that!

My sentiments exactly! The prayers I'm asking for are for guidance, as it were. Where I'm at now treats me okay, but I feel I need a change. Not sure if this is to be it or not; going to pray and feel it out.

Anything at this point is likely to be a temporary means to an end. Once I've saved up enough money, I plan to take for the highway for awhile.

Boss: [singing as he's walking up to my office. Stops at my window. Hands me a chart.]
Me: shhhhhhhhhhh!
Boss: but I'm singing your fave song.
Me: that's not my fave song.

Cuz that's how I roll.

I might be taking a ministerial class in between college. :) the youth pastor's doing it and he told me I should check it out. It's looking like a lot of fun and tempting to join him. I should be able to make some room for it in my finances.

Had to have a tech from our satellite company come out to upgrade equipment. I told my husband it would be best if he came home early from work so he could handle this, but he seems to have a lot more confidence in my ability to deal with it than I do.

So far, the power has been out the whole time the tech has been here, which makes it hard to get stuff done.

And then I say stupid stuff...*sigh*
On the topic of making sure I got the batteries out of the old remotes, I said, "I have one job, and this is one of them".

*facepalm*

I was offered a job this morning. It's not what I want to do, but I stand to make nearly double what I'm making now. Going to look into it soon and would appreciate prayers again!

On an unrelated but totally relevant note: I ate too much during lunch.
Praying, Friend!!

Yum yum.

I just made the most delicious dinner. I so picked the right diet. And no, it's not the cannibal diet. Hard to get the ingredients for that one in a manner that is sustainable over the long term.

Only the noteworthy ostriches run free? What about the common ones?

Typically, I am not a huge fan of Chris Tomlin. However, without getting into details, some stuff went down yesterday and as I'm mourning, in a way, I'm confused, angry, sad, etc etc. I had to leave work earlier because of it.

As I'm crying out to God, asking what's happening and why things happened the way they did, I realized His cross is enough, his death was enough, and his resurrection was enough. I take hope and I take refuge with Him. I have peace because I know He is with me. I take joy because His strength is something that continues being poured out to me. He made me an overcomer, He made me victorious through the blood that was shed.

I don't cry usually. It usually takes a lot to make me upset or to cry, but because of what's been happening, I cried many tears yesterday to where I didn't even know how to deal with it. As God spoke to me, "Just cry," I couldn't run away from it. I was able to cry out to Him and just be completely honest with everything.

The reason I mentioned Chris Tomlin was when I was crying out to Jesus, crying out in my confusion, anger, and sadness....this song came on Pandora (which obviously led me to more tears haha. Everyone, I was a mess to where I didn't even know what to do with!)

Regardless, I am still whole.

People who know lots about computers: since I wanna throw my computer out the window, I better ask for help lol

Boss had me download the free version of avast on my comp. Ever since, it randomly freezes. I removed the previous antivirus program, thinking it would solve the issue, but it froze on me again!

So what's up with this? :(

Ah, Chris Tomlin's "Love Ran Red". I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan of his either. But after my break-up late last year, I had this on repeat for like a month and it really helped. God spoke to me through the album and brought about some healing, so I feel I can identify with you, if only a little. I'm sorry to hear you're finding it tough. Crying is good for the soul though, it's like a spiritual detox.

Software. Unlikely to be Avast specifically/exclusively. Freezing is almost always the result of some software conflict; drivers, IRQs, etc.

Try throwing it out the window. ;)
