Evildoers never learn their lesson
no matter how much God punishes them
or how God punishes them
for their evil doings.

They always continue on
in their wrongful ways.

No matter what God does to them for it.

???

If that were true, then why did God bother to establish His salvation plan for mankind? Why did Christ fulfill God's salvation plan? Don't follow your logic here.

Paul would be a great example of 'an evil doer' as he was killing believers....

God spoke to him and definitely taught him to forsake his wicked ways.....

but yes, the ONLY WAY the carnal nature can be changed is if our Father leads them to repentance.....
like Christ said,
No man comes unto Me, except the Father draw him....

People pick out verses from the bible that would
benefit them if they had been written about them
then make believe they were in fact written about them.
When in fact it has nothing to do with them at all nor was
it written to them.

But, don't you think we should try to see if any of the verses we read could apply to our lives, no matter to whom they were written?

Have you ever noticed people sign up for this site with the intention of teaching everyone else and believing they cannot learn from anyone else?
Have you ever noticed trolls join the site often?
Let me guess, the response will be "??????????????
I don't follow your logic as to this you have posted in correlation
to the subject of this thread?"

Why are you trying to start trouble with me on my thread?
Is it because you are evil and hate the truth? What harm have I ever done to you?

You are not responsible for my sins. You have your own to look after.
And from my stand point they are many.

Have you ever heard of anyone picking this one out
and claiming it applied to their life?

Deuteronomy 28:19
Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in,
and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

No you do not.

Why do you think that is?

What really amazes me is
a sinner trying to exalt themselves above their own sin by calling another sinner...a troll.
Which according to the written word of God is a sin.

Seeing how you pride yourself upon knowing the word of God
and giving Godly advice to anyone who will listen to you.

Why do you do this hypocrisy?

Gregormar, are you trying to teach, to vent, to simply share ideas, or to initiate a conversation? The tone of your posts so far in this thread doesn't invite conversation, and your material is not really didactic in nature. I guess you're welcome to share thoughts, and if you need to vent some frustration, go right ahead. Clarity of intent will help though.

One strength of this site is the input from people with different perspectives, and the respect and understanding which usually accompanies such interaction. Within clearly-stated limits, you may share what you like, but you will be challenged if your posts are illogical, poorly-supported, offensive, or contrary to Scripture and the character of God. These are not personal attacks, just iron sharpening iron. :)

FYI, as 'Ugly' implied, there are many people who join this site with the clear intent to correct the views of others. Please don't be one of them. Join the conversation, don't clobber it.

Since when did I have to give you an account of why
I do anything on here for whatever reason?

If I want you to explain anything to me like how it works here. I will ask you.

anyone who is in Christ is someone who was once did evil, but has has been shown the error of their ways and repented. if it were otherwise, we had nothing to be "saved" from :)

the whole scripture is for us, for our edification. none of it is superfluous.

and claiming it applied to their life?

Deuteronomy 28:19

and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

yes.

but you can't leave out the verse preceding it:

But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee
(Deuteronomy 28:15)

the Lord chastens those He loves!
if we turn our eyes away from Him, we start to sink, just like Peter on the sea.
but if we are faithless, He is faithful -- just as Christ reached out immediately and took hold of Peter, and just as He promised to restore faithless Israel, even though the curse fell upon them -- and so Christ took the curse upon Himself, for Israel's sake, and for ours.

Do you have the curse of sin and death upon your body?
