Haven't you heard the saying love is blind? My husband's ears stick out an he's got a tiny bit of baby fat still on his tummy and oh it drives him nuts, he hates it, and I think those things are just about my favourites. You'll be suprised at what flaws you think you have that NO ONE else notices, or else thinks are flaws.

What a disrespectful thing to say about women. You are not only offending women who are chubby, but also the better looking women that you were referring to in your post by referring to her as an object.

So let me get this straight, it is ok to date someone that is not attractive, or chubby untill you find someone else.

you know, in some cultures chubby women are considered the attractive ones, so I agree. That is amazingly disrespectful.

It is mindsets like this one that cause girls to develop eating disorders. Do you not realize, humblesaint, the emotional scars it would place on a woman if she found out the only reason you dated her was because you were not confident enough to find someone "better looking"?

Amen, I have met men who have said things that have left emotional scars that impact my relationships. I would rather a guy not want to date me than to use me.

I agree... There's a difference between chubby and fat, you know. Chubby people can be JUST as attractive as "super thin" people, and oftentimes, they have the potential to be even MORE attractive! Stick-thin girls are disgusting, and if you wanna go into smaller details, they also tend to be flat ~_o

And do NOT date a girl that you are uninterested in physically, just so she can be a "step up" to the ones you are attracted to. Just jump right into a relationship with a girl that IS attractive. It's not hard if you're not a total moronic jerk =D

Wow, Vidy, that's really rude too. Believe it or not some women can't help that they are stick thin. I think maybe the opinions about what is and isn't beautiful need to be taken somewhere else.

I hate to say it but its like a rule of nature. Have you ever looked at pictures of grandparents when they were your age? Have you ever noticed how the pretty ones age "ugly" and the "Ugly" ones age pretty?

Its just an observation.

I'm sorry if I'm rude, but it's true. YES, people can be beautiful inside no matter how ugly they are outside, and vice versa. However, I don't think that you HAVE to ignore outer beauty. I didn't really call stick-thin girls ugly, I just said that often times "chubby" girls look better lol

And what's wrong with sharing opinions about beauty? My range of "beauty" is far broader than most people's, so what you're saying it "call everyone beautiful or drop it." I'm not going to do that, sorry =D

Vidy, I think saying that stick-thin girls are DISGUSTING is taking it a little far. You could have worded it differently to spare the feelings of someone reading on here who may be stick-thin. I don' think it's our right to say anybody looks disgusting, imagine what that would do to one of our brothers or sisters in Christ. You don't have to say everyone is beautiful, but you can state you have a physical preference for one body type over another without insulting people.

My friend is 5'3" and weighs 90lbs, but that girl eats like none other. She could probably eat a whole large pizza in one sitting. Just because someone is thin does not mean they don't eat. Sometimes they simply cannot gain weight.

And what makes it worse is when people accuse said skinny people of being bulimic or anorexic. That is so offensive.

I apologize, I was just trying to be funny and then after I wrote it I realized that it was not something I probably should have put. Just goes to show that no one is perfect.

Or she could just have a metabolism that supports that weight. We are all different, it doesn't mean we have a disorder.
