Will be on n off here as my time allows me, but can I just ask a general question.

When you know someone has been using you repeatedly, is it wrong to finally say no, no I'm not doing it anymore, no, I've already got more than I can handle.

Is that wrong????

Goodbye CC! Thanks for having us! Many of you were a blessing to myself and my wife!

PW, don't let those few get to you. Their day is coming, trust me.
They profess to be christians, their actions say different.
If you and the general leave, those few and the devil win.
I've been keeping up with whats going on, it's not you, it's
her, and her minions. People like that don't last to long, they
either get banned, or their true self comes out. When their
true self comes out, they may as well be banned, because
no one will reply to their post.
If you and the general leave, come back soon, you can just
take a break, come back later, see if it has gotten any better.
I'll be praying for you and the general that God will lead you
and her in the right direction. Frank

Thanks people.

We will continue to pray about this.

Really appreciate all of your support.

I'm gonna tell you what one poster on here told another when she wanted to leave here: don't LEAVE for the ones you can't help, STAY for the ones you CAN help.. :)

Where are you going? You just got here and already you're ready to leave? Why don't you stick around a little while longer and be of service to the Lord?

Our God is so faithful. I got my phone bill today and it was less than the month before and I expected it to be a few dollars higher, he gave me a job cleaning a house that I was praying for and the guy literally walked up to my door wanting to see me and no student loans this year because God is good. Remember that God wants to give us the desires in our heart, but we need to keep asking and putting trust in him. Matthew 7:7

May I be the first to say, Welcome Home Frank

Thank you CM, I was going to post about your post, so I'll do it in one.

I believe God is going to do something great in your life. He is blessing
you in ways you never expected. Praise God He is showing you things
now that will be for later use. You just have to keep trusting him as you
have, He'll see you through, no matter what.
Praying for your headaches daily, I believe God will take care of those to.
Also praying school goes as planned, and you have a great year to, knock
It out of the park.

Good afternoon everyone, it's been a while since I've been on this thread but I do still read through some of the posts some days. I've been real busy with work and also evenings these past couple of weeks.

I hope everyone is well and enjoying their Sunday and also worship if you are able.

I know we don't much discuss the Bible here but I was just wondering about your thoughts on sanctification - what is your opinion on the scripture regarding the non-believing husband being sanctified by his believing wife. What exactly does this mean in your opinion?
I am not really sure but I'd like to take a crack at it.....

You know that you are in the house and your husband observes your actions and reactions and how you handle things when he is not so nice at times.......It is hard on you because you want with all your heart for your husband to accept the Lord and be saved too. But he hurts you now and again because he is not saved....the thing is though you don't realize how much of an influence you have on your husband because when you love him and are kind to him when he hasn't been so nice has to make him think inside because what you are doing is showing him the Love of God and the kindness and change that God has made in your heart.

I get it he probably makes you want to shout and scream at times....but love and kindness is what God tells us to shower on those who don't treat us right. No we are not door mats but we are royalty and ambassadors for God and represent Him to our family and the world....big calling and sometimes we fail as I know I do, but I do try and remember even here on CC when being told I am going to hell (which hasn't happened for a while by the way).....is that we may be the only Bible some people ever read so when we are good it is God who gets the glory and we have been the representative He set us out to be.... So I am not sure how this sanctifies your husband through you but I do see how you can be an ambassador for God to your husband and I also know that Sanctification for any of us is the work of a lifetime because none of us will have arrived until we get our glorified bodies in heaven....

We are justified right now through the blood of Jesus....So keep loving your husband and taking care of him....prayers your way dear sister for the work that God has called you to do... We are witnesses to the whole world beginning in our own families....Hugs your way...and prayers... Dar

Have you ever had the feeling during a job "Ugh I may be fired for that mistake I made" but you still have to act like it's totally normal? I have had a lot of that. It just...just...
A-Steph.....I worked as a nurses aid in a hospital for many years, but one time a patient had a machine hooked up to him - a chest tube....and there was a jar beside the bed underneath the machine on a shelf that had fluid in it. Part of my job was going around and measuring fluids from different areas....

I had never seen a machine like this before so I went to the nurse and asked if I should empty the liquid out of it....I said I have never seen this machine before. She said yes so I did... I went back and told her it was done and this look of panic came over her face when she realized what I had done and she called the doctor and he came in....This machine is usually only done by the doctor and I should not have touched it.

The Doctor came in and was cussing and yelling not at me but at the nurse and I felt three inches tall, horrible and wished the floor would open up and swallow me.... I had asked but the nurse didn't come and see what I was asking about and even though it really wasn't my fault I felt responsible because I had emptied it. I probably set the patient back two or three days more of a stay in the hospital and that was the good outcome it could have been a lot worse as his lung could have collapsed.

There was a review board and the nurse and myself had to go and answer a lot of questions.... I was not found at fault even though I emptied the jar as I had asked my supervising nurse for directions and had received the wrong ones.... But I still felt so bad and it is the worst thing I did working as a nurses aid.

So yes, things happen to make us feel really bad at times....but then there are those moments that things go the right way like when a lady visiting another patient asked me if I would mind taking her blood pressure and when I did it was like 230/190 and I said very calmly to her..... I don't want to alarm you but I recommend that you go see your doctor right away because your blood pressure is very high. A few days later she was visiting again and said dear thank you so much I believe you saved my life as she had been put on some medication to help lower her blood pressure and her doctor was treating her for this problem.... So there is good with the bad..... Don't be too hard on yourself.....
