It is worth considering that the Antichrist will needs be of Jewish heritage. The Jews will not accept a Gentile as their leader in these matters.

The false prophet could well be a combination of Romanism and Islam. I think these two will consume each other to be the one world religion.

The great falling away happened as the RCC came into being ..no one should doubt the very man of sin is the same that claims to replace "vicar" Christ. Paul told us clearly these things would happen sooner rather than later. Has their been a second falling away? maybe their has never been a true restoration ?

What scripture tells you he will be their leader ???

The word of God says he surrounds and invades Israel, meaning he comes from outside of the country not from within.

OT prophecy calls him by the name of king of the north, and Revelation 2:13, 13:2 says he is given satan's seat that is located in Turkey.

The RCC would fall under apostasy and the spirit of antichrist that operates in the world, and I lean more by the bible that the pope would be the false prophet. For the location of the Vatican is in the wrong location for satan's seat by the bible, and even if you want to take in account they excavated it and rebuilt the ruins the Vatican still doesn't fit.

Kenneth you have your opinion but what is as evident as the darkness of night is the RCC and the pope alone fulfill the New Testament warnings of the falling away and the man of sin...anti-Christ ...vicar of Christ...this is evident and not debatable to me or to the Protestant fathers...which maybe you should read and consider?

It is not opinion Mitspa as I showed you exactly what the bible says, so it comes from the word of God.

The falling away is not just synonymous with what the Catholic church has done, as other denominations out there and even branches of churches from others are teaching bad to extremely bad doctrines. They have moved away from the sound doctrine of the gospel of Christ.

I will continue to stick with the scriptures in the bible and not what leaders of either the Catholic or the Protestant church teaches, as the Protestant church broke away from the RCC and still carried over some of their teachings.

Example: What do you think about Augustine ???

The Christians favorite subject of humor. A bodily function. I hated that humor when I was lost. It's another reason why I stay away from church. I'm just not into poopy stuff!

I would like for you to turn to Jesus right now and tell Him a f--t joke. I've been praying for years that God would isolate me in His kingdom from most of the Christians that will be there. I don't want to listen to their potty mouths throughout eternity. I know, you think I'm square...not with it! One brother told me that I needed to lighten up and enjoy some smutty Christian humor.

This same bro told me that it was dangerous for me because I don't 'Go to church'.

No you showed nothing as it relates to the truths of these issues . .You have given your opinion which is contrary to what is evident to me and the Protestant tradition and its founders. Im sure your catholic background is important to you but don't let it hinder you from seeing what is more than evident ...The RCC is the fulfilling of the falling away and the pope is the antichrist and the man of sin....its not even doubtful in my mind nor those who began the Protestant Reformation.

I gave you old testament prophecy that calls him the king of the north, then I gave you Revelation 2:13, 13:2 that shows the seat/throne of satan is in Pergamos, Turkey and this seat is given to the man of sin (beast).

Sorry I assumed that you had a basic understanding of who Antichrist is. Perhaps if I had identified him as Anti-messiah it would help you to understand.

Israel will make peace and follow him for three and one half years before he betrays them. He will betray all the peace accords and satan will bring all the enemies of Israel as you rightly pointed out down on Jerusalem to destroy Israel off the face of the earth.

None of this matters to those who are not saved by grace through faith according to the word of God.

What people need to understand is the Anti-Christ will come from the Jewish race.

Pope Francis will be the False Prophet.

The Beast will come from the Muslims.

There will be no Christian Churches or Christians involved in the End Times because we will have been Raptured out of this World by Jesus Himself.

Look your guessing against what is clear and evident Kenneth ...we don't have to guess about these things, or try to make old testament scripture mean this or that the RCC has proven it is the fulfillment of the warnings written IN THE NEW TESTAMENT.. its not debatable ...its evident...They have proven what they are ...we don't have to guess.

So in other words you do just the the Catholic's do, you place what your leaders say above the written word of God ???

Yes we do have to pay attention to what the OT prophecies say because some of them are on the end times, such as the last couple chapters of Daniel.

You can not understand who to look for without taking all the prophecies together for understanding, as Revelation helps to unlock Daniel and vise versa. As well does Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel have to be read and taken in.

I stated the same things in the other thread to, so there is no difference between the two as it does matter how one applies the word.

Like I said before if one takes the every word scripture to mean you still have to obey the physical written ordinances of the Mosaic laws then they are in the wrong understanding.

If you understand how they are shadows of things to come that has now fulfilled them, or will be fulfilled in the future then you are on the right path.
