You guys should do a google search on Win 10, esp. the EULA agreement. It's spyware in a big way..... that's why they're giving it away.

Really, folks..... when's the last time Microsoft "gave" you anything?

Most of the spyware features can be turned off at installation.

Dismal sales of Windows 8 convinced the marketing department to go directly to "Windows 10" to put distance between their new operating system and Windows 8. They believe Windows 10 is a better name for increasing sales and demonstrating a new product that differs significantly from their last dismal selling one... which it, in fact, does.

And what happened to Windows 9?

It says 3947 total, 1902 cached, 1921 available. It's a 64 bit system
If that's normal reporting on a day to day basis, I think you're okay. If you hit your ceiling and the computer begins using swap file in lieu of available RAM, then there's a problem.

Lolol...

surprisingly it is very easy to revert back to your previous version of windows which is shocking for Microsoft to do. One of my computers had issues with windows 10 and I just downgrade it right back. But, it is really best to have backups of course.

That option only works if you upgraded to windows 10 and didn't do a clean install and furthermore, it's only good for up to one month after the upgrade. More than a month, and the option to downgrade is removed.

How to Uninstall Windows 10 and Downgrade to Windows 7 or 8.1

Ugh, I used the tool to upgrade to windows 10 from Windows 8.1 Pro w/ Media Center since Lenovo said my particular model wasn't going to receive the Windows 10 upgrade. Why? Because one particular model in the Y580 line had a hybrid SSD/HDD which isn't supported apparently.

I opted to clear out my old files since I had all my files backed up.

Now.... there is no option to revert back to Windows 8.1 :P I'm pretty sure it hasn't been a month...
