So, who's going to be number 40,000? We are at around 37,000. And with the way everyone posts in here, I suspect it will only be a couple of days before we make it.

I was thinking how cool it would be to throw you a surprise welcome home party, but then I remembered...introvert and aversion to being surrounded by people (you, I mean. Well, me too, but I meant you) and also, I'm not where ever home is anyway. So it wasn't really a particularly well thought out idea. But! Then I thought, well maybe we can just have a welcome home party ON CC for you, but I also thought it would be good to check with you first and find out when you'll even be home.

Anyway! If you want, I can just hush and pray for safe travels :D
I think we can do a CC surprise party. I'll turn up randomly after a few weeks and yell surprise and then you can all party. Thanks though Miss cris, that thought counts, though I am also confused about how details of implementation would work.

Have you been able to communicate the above with them? It's so easy to have difficult relationships with your in-laws. I hope you all can work through the stuff, because even a year with resentment is too long.
I have, I only get excuses for their behavior. Like "I'm grandma, I have rights". Like her rights come before mine. Or "I'm sorry, I have no experience with people like you". Like that makes a difference, I asked her to stop certain things, so they should stop, right?

In my opinion, yes. Also? Your husband should be backing you up here. You are the parent, not his mother. Hopefully, the two of you have discussed this and are in agreement as well.

(Watching a movie with a wedding in it)

Me: what's up with those colors? Pastels. Ick.
Sis in law: what colors would you have, melita?
Niece: as if melita is getting married.

Not even my niece believes in me! :(

Lol :p

Most people love sports here...I don't know why! For me, it's way too hot to be outside. I prefer to be inside, reading.
In high school, and primary school for that matter, I played handball at lunch or visited the library and read there. Of course, primary school also involved playing pirates on the playground and Star Wars etc. But handball and reading were two of my most favourite lunch activities, upon learning to enjoy books (when I was about 8).

A good thought. And it reminds me of a song in my collection:

If everyone were just like me
What kind of world would this world be
If everyone were just like me
Would it be a place I'd want to be
There would certainly be a lot of Yes men.
But no women.

Thx, molly. This is a new special. Most know about the vids, and God is waking ppl up to the horrors. We dont need more sensationalism as you know. Am hoping this new special also sheds more light. Step one is stop tax payer forced funding, then get these barbaric practices to stop. They've been exposed, womens health is NOT what theyre about. The only thing necessary for evil to succeed is for God's people to do nothing. Thank you, molly, for taking notice, and please, all pray. In Jesus' name.

He makes excuses like "they have no experience with people who have personal space issues".
That shouldn't matter, they should at least have some manners!

Keep communicating with him. The two of you need to work that out.

We would NOT all be yes men... when one of us said no the others would say no. :p
