Is it fine to be religious and gay?

Hang on. Are you saying that two adults agreeing to have constual sex is worse than one person forcing themselves on a child?

That's the difference. Two adults can legally engage in any sexual activity that is not harmful to anyone. I don't see how this ties in any way with child ABUSE or animal ABUSE as many people like to bring up.

Im saying that two perverts agreeing to sin...is just twice as much sin as one... and what is legal has little to do with what is right before God...but I would remind you that prostitution is not legal in most of this nation.


I don't really care what to perverts do in private but when they start to force their evil on others and attempt to get it promoted and approved in a society ..that's when I do care.

I have no problem with that point of view.

I take exception when people compare homosexuality to child abuse.

Well I think the evidence shows that there is a strong connection...but I don't need to make it for my point.

I think we already see some groups and even major politicians trying to suggest such things...since you brought the issue up..I think many gay men are molesters and they are working to get near to children in order to molest ... I think even the science proves that

I didn't bring it up, I was responding to the people who made the comparison.

Anyway, I think I've been looking at this from the wrong angle. Never mind the science.

Are you saying you have that little trust in the government that you wouldn't be surprised if they ever legalised it?

I have very little trust in certain folks in the government and I think that so many are so eager to approve, promote and force the homosexual agenda on our society proves these people are reprobate (according the bible) and will only try to approve more ad more evil. They already rejoice in the killing of millions of babies ...they are capable of anything.

75% of homosexuals start out just that way. They were abused as children.

First of all, Christians are not religious as the world likes to see us as such. Our faith or religion is based on a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ our personal Savior and sovereign Lord and as a result of that we do the good works that God calls us to do. The gay identity is nowhere in Scripture, it is unbiblical. A lot of comes from Freud's and Kinsey's writings as well as other stuff. A former lesbian Rosaria Butterfield saw the connection between the nowaday movement that embraces a lot of Freudian philosophy and such. The Bible says in eight verses, some in the Old Testament as well as the New Testament that homosexuality is a sin against God and goes against God's design for marriage which is between one man and one woman as shown in the first wedding between Adam and Eve in Genesis. Even Jesus in Matthew and Mark said that marriage is between a man and a woman. He also made a reference to Sodom, which his Jewish audience would have recognized went down there. So according to the world, yes it is fine to be ''religious'' and ''gay'' but according to God it is not. I love you because Jesus loved me first. But when the Bible says something is a sin, it is a sin. But the first sins that would need to be tackled by God in a person who believes this are pride and other things that caused the person to start believing they were homosexual in the first place.   • Self-report studies show that 20% of adult females and 5-10% of adult males recall a childhood sexual assault or sexual abuse incident;
  • During a one-year period in the U.S., 16% of youth ages 14 to 17 had been sexually victimized;
  • Over the course of their lifetime, 28% of U.S. youth ages 14 to 17 had been sexually victimized;
  • Children are most vulnerable to CSA between the ages of 7 and 13.

From my years counseling addicts and runaways.

I'd quote, except all the common knowledge of those days (1977 to 1980), but, alas, there is a gay agenda, and the journals and books I read back then have since been called "bigotry," so the APA had to downplay it most of your life. That, and they were either reference materials at work or I've thrown out my old journals.

Also from my days when my friends were all in the gay community -- the women's side. (I really dislike the word "lesbian." I understand the history of why they picked that word, but it seems bigoted to me.)

Just, if you're wondering. Nope. I've never been homosexual and never wanted to be. I really don't pick my friends according to set beliefs though.

Nah. I'm older than you realize. When I was your age, the only people in the Internet were scientists. The rest of us didn't even know there was an Internet. lol
