good morning! :)

not a no show today. haha
I have missed you Mom.....

I am having second thoughts about Gino... he really is a good little dog but I had no idea that it would be like taking care of a two year old....attention, attention, and then just a few mins ago I think he ate a water pill that hit the floor before I could get it away from him and now I am in a panic as to what to do for the dog????

I am afraid that I am going to take him back because I am an unfit dog owner.....I feel terrible....I truly am a cat person but whoever gets Gino will be getting a good dog I just don't have the energy to keep up with him.

Tourist is working today until 8pm I am solo and get to watch the poor dog pee himself to death.... It is raining here right now don't know if it is suppose to clear up...I may be taking the dog walking a lot because of him grabbing the pill so quickly....could not get to him in time to take it away....fast little critter....

Hope that you are doing well and really have missed your wisdom and wit.....

Just dont make a kid mad.....I have worked on halloween before....crazy how many kids buy eggs......one of my coworkers cars was actually ketchup(ed)....
I remember my freshman year in high school and I was at a home football game. Some kids put a dead skunk on the opponents school bus. Let's just say the next Monday at school we had an assembly telling us that wasnt good sportsmanship and we shold be ashamed of ourselves. We found out later it was some kids from a neighboring town.

Some people do stupid things when they are a teenager. But for me I did some dumb things but I was so good I never got caught. Let's see, I kept an entire hotel awake on a school trip to San Francisco at least for an hour or two. We blamed the guys next door. Then I vandalized my band teachers house on my birthday, he blamed my friend for doing it. He actually encouraged students to do it as long as we don't use eggs.

As for now...Phoenix, AZ sounds tempting lol
Ew.... I will never move back to AZ..... Cause I have lived there once before... and hated every second of it. Besides, AZ is for people who LOVE summer.... Who want it to be hot 24/7... I will pass on that. lol

Honestly, I can't wait for fall. I love the atmosphere of it as the weather gets cooler and everyone starts to put their decorations up. Even now I like the feeling, even though it's obviously not as strong as compared to when I was a kid.

You know that nauseating feeling you get when you see someone you haven't talked to in a while, especially if you stopped talking/being friends with them? Yeah... That feeling never ceases to exist whenever that happens. :/

I had to modify the original content. :)
These are from a book called Disorder in the American Courts and are things people actually said in court, word for word, taken down and published by court reporters that had the torment of staying calm while the exchanges were taking place.
ATTORNEY: What was the first thing your husband said to you that morning?
WITNESS: He said, 'Where am I, Cathy?'
ATTORNEY: And why did that upset you?
WITNESS: My name is Susan!
_______________________________
ATTORNEY: What gear were you in at the moment of the impact?
WITNESS: Gucci sweats and Reeboks.
____________________________________________
ATTORNEY: Are you sexually active?
WITNESS: No, I just lie there.
____________________________________________
ATTORNEY: What is your date of birth?
WITNESS: July 18th.
ATTORNEY: What year?
WITNESS: Every year.
_____________________________________
ATTORNEY: How old is your son, the one living with you?
WITNESS: Thirty-eight or thirty-five, I can't remember which.
ATTORNEY: How long has he lived with you?
WITNESS: Forty-five years.
_________________________________
ATTORNEY: This myasthenia gravis, does it affect your memory at all?
WITNESS: Yes.
ATTORNEY: And in what ways does it affect your memory?
WITNESS: I forget..
ATTORNEY: You forget? Can you give us an example of something you forgot?
___________________________________________
ATTORNEY: Now doctor, isn't it true that when a person dies in his sleep, he doesn't know about it until the next morning?
WITNESS: Did you actually pass the bar exam?
____________________________________

ATTORNEY: The youngest son, the 20-year-old, how old is he?
WITNESS: He's 20, much like your IQ.
___________________________________________
ATTORNEY: Were you present when your picture was taken?
WITNESS: Are you kidding me?

____________________________________________

ATTORNEY: She had three children , right?
WITNESS: Yes.
ATTORNEY: How many were boys?
WITNESS: None.
ATTORNEY: Were there any girls?
WITNESS: Your Honor, I think I need a different attorney. Can I get a new attorney?
____________________________________________
ATTORNEY: How was your first marriage terminated?
WITNESS: By death..
ATTORNEY: And by whose death was it terminated?
WITNESS: Take a guess.
___________________________________________
ATTORNEY: Can you describe the individual?
WITNESS: He was about medium height and had a beard
ATTORNEY: Was this a male or a female?
WITNESS: Unless the Circus was in town I'm going with male.
_____________________________________
ATTORNEY: Is your appearance here this morning pursuant to a deposition notice which I sent to your attorney?
WITNESS: No, this is how I dress when I go to work.
______________________________________
ATTORNEY: Doctor , how many of your autopsies have you performed on dead people?
WITNESS: All of them. The live ones put up too much of a fight.
_________________________________________
ATTORNEY: ALL your responses MUST be oral, OK? What school did you go to?
WITNESS: Oral...
_________________________________________
ATTORNEY: Do you recall the time that you examined the body?
WITNESS: The autopsy started around 8:30 PM
ATTORNEY: And Mr. Denton was dead at the time?
WITNESS: If not, he was by the time I finished.
____________________________________________
ATTORNEY: Are you qualified to give a urine sample?
WITNESS: Are you qualified to ask that question?
______________________________________
And last:
ATTORNEY: Doctor, before you performed the autopsy, did you check for a pulse?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: Did you check for blood pressure?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: Did you check for breathing?
WITNESS: No..
ATTORNEY: So, then it is possible that the patient was alive when you began the autopsy?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: How can you be so sure, Doctor?
WITNESS: Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar.
ATTORNEY: I see, but could the patient have still been alive, nevertheless?
WITNESS: Yes, it is possible that he could have been alive and practicing law.

Why are people afraid of confrontation? Sure, it's uncomfortable, but to kiss and make nice - that's not the answer. It's better to see that there's a problem that needs to be addressed. Anything else is disingenuous. We don't unite just to avoid confrontation. We need to unite under God's Truth.

Because unfortunately what usually happens after confrontation is not good. It's usually more arguing and disrespect for one another, gossip, ganging up against each other etc. If it were to solve the problem, that would be great! But I have found that sometimes it just makes things worse. :(

For most of my life, I've hated conflict. I grew up seeing my mom and step dad fight constantly. There was no love. So if you grow up in that sort of environment, you'll be sketchy of any type of confrontation. It takes years for God to break you and change you of that mindset, if you're willing to let Him.

It's taken a lot of work, but I'm at a place now where I'm able to speak my mind (no pun intended) more now, and not care what other people think. I'm more able to try and reach out to someone to when someone else is doing something wrong. Keeping yourself involved with church is key for me. It doesn't happen overnight.. But one night/day, you'll realize that God slowly gave you that gift. If that makes sense (I hope).

I just want people to respect the women around here. And men. But women more often seem to be the targets of crass comments.
