AMEN. Since I avoid dairy, having their guacamole makes up for it. 100% It is just amazing.

Also. Their chips. Aaaaaaah their chips. I love how much lime they put on them.

If they had a chipotle close by i'd definitely do that! There's one 30 minutes away from where I live...its worth the drive every single time!

Lime | Tortilla Chips | Food Should Taste Good

Here's the ingredients. Fairly simple and very, very good.

Stone Ground Corn, High Oleic Sunflower Oil and/or Safflower Oil and/or Canola Oil, Lime Juice Concentrate, Sea Salt, Lime Oil.

I found this brand (and yes, that's the name of the brand - Food Should Taste Good brand) at a salvage grocery. Been hooked ever since. So much better than the big name brands that try to throw in a lot of junk.

Some very good advice, Fenner. Especially since you have experience as a mother etc. From my completely inexperienced understanding it seemed the problem more concerned boundaries. It's her and her husband's house and child, they should be calling the shots. If others intrude and don't give them space, that's not loving. Also, the water-works she used strike me as incredibly manipulative. She does that to get what she wants (her grandchild) and it worked, so why wouldn't she do it again and again. I'm sorry, but it seems to me she's acting like a selfish toddler and that's not acceptable.
Yeah she sounds like she's got some issues. I'm lucky my MIL minds her own business because I am not a confrontational person and some one like that would walk all over me.

Sounds like Imawildthing has a handle on not being this woman's doormat and that's a good thing.

I've had their pumpkin tortilla chips before. Those are really good, too for some reason. But I might have to try these. Because the very first time I had lime tortilla chips....they were disgusting. They were the Aldi brand, and I think it was just tortilla chips with straight up ascorbic acid with artificial lime flavoring on it. It was covered in a powder that tasted like they might as well have put crushed up warheads on it, because it was just 2 or 3 steps down from one.

So because it was on sale and I had a coupon, I bought a container of Haagen Dazs "Green Tea" ice cream today.

I've actually had green tea ice cream (and also red bean) before that was really good.

This stuff?

Well, let's just say that it tastes like some horrible juicing experiment gone wrong. It literally tastes like someone took the grass clippings from a lawnmower and tried to make a smoothie out of it. BLEH!!!

I seriously need some alcohol to make up for this horribly, leafy, "weedy" taste (meaning lawn weeds and NOT illegal ones.)

(And what I'm saying is, I will forever stick to my favorite flavor of all time, Rum Raisin. I hate the taste of alcohol alone but oddly, enjoy many foods made with it.)

How far would I go to have Caribou Coffee again? ...That's a good question.

Sage brush is blooming...I can tell because I can't breathe without sneezing. I should have bought some Claritin, but I didn't, so instead I've been pretending all day that I don't have a stuffy nose and itchy eyes.

I played outside with my kids.
I built towers out of giant blocks.
I baked brownies.
I went for a walk.

I am now seriously regretting not taking five extra minutes and a couple dollars to go to the store here and get Claritin. It only took 674 sneezes to get to this point (that number may or may not be greatly exaggerated...I haven't been counting).

Um...EW.

Sounds like a Bean Boozled flavor or one of those horrible Harry Potter jelly beans!

Whoever made that should repent. :p

The light here is really strange. It's gone from yellow, to green, to bright white in the last hour. I know there is a gorse and brush fire about 4 miles north of me, but goodness! The way it's affecting the sky-light and the outdoors is weird.

Hey Melita,

I was just curious, do you like to read and are you able to do so on the treadmill?

I myself have discovered the magic of a stationery bike on my "less intense" days. I just plop myself down with a book (or 3), and before I know it, my half hour or whatever is up. It's made the whole process much more bearable. Just thought maybe it might work for you?

I admit I can't do any "heavy reading" while on a treadmill... For that, I bring a book with lots of pictures (home decorating, art, fashion) and fewer paragraphs. How about a book of your favorite comic strip? :)

Now I am looking for a good cookie recipe to make cheesecake cookie sandwiches, kinda like ice-cream sandwiches. Maybe a ginger snap with a spiced wine cranberry cheesecake. Hmmm....
