The popular Irish stew with lamb meet was delicious, Guiness beer is okay (not as good as Belgian beer), but the other dishes are yuk!!! Such a bad culinar taste. they have... Good thing there were also some Italian restaurants...

Depends on where you get it, who makes it, and how they make it. Mutton stew is super good. but there is a reason for that I am not sharing:p Wouldn't know about the beer(I dont drink), but we don't only have Guiness.

Guinnes is wonderful if you want to feel like you've had a whole meal only by drinking :D

actually, when I first started drinking beer, I only liked Guinnes

Belgian beers have thousands of different styles. We rule the beer world!!!

imported beer is expensive! it's like twice the price, or more....

1/2l ordinary beer costs the same as 1 1/2 l mineral water or two l milk

Here it's rather cheap. Pils is extremely cheap, but I prefer Lambiek, Geuze and Belgian Specials like Palm an De Koninck. Mmmmmm

but those are in the grocery store

to get belgian beer I have to go to the liquer store... and pay lots more...

and I don't drink beer all that often anyway... I've been told Innis and Gunn is good... is that true? (not beligan... guessing it's Irish)

Dunno, I'm very pattriotic when it comes to food and beer. WE HAVE THE VERY BEST BEER!!! :D:D

I dont drink, but Ive smelt a good deal of it. (as my father is a fighter pilot and all, spent a lot of time with the other children in the squadron bar) They use to import Belgian, and stopped because they didnt like the taste. smelt a little off.

What brand?

Belgian beer is the best! I have an open mind about nearly everything, but not about this. Belgian beer rocks! WE RULE!!! :p

they use to pour a bunch of different brands in a barrel and mix it.

Smelt like sasperilla on a hot summer day.
