My country? Malaysia! I guess it's getting very famous lately with whatever that's going on in the country. Oh well, what's interesting about my country is that, we can be very confusing to people out there as we have three main races in this country, namely the malays, chinese and indians but none of the people were the "original people" as in Malaysia, there are the original people or known as orang asli (in Malay Language, the official language of Malaysia); in Australian term, they are the aborigines.
Due to the influence from all different races, the culture differs from the various people you speak to. One may tell you that they do things in a certain way while another person will tell you something that would be totally different from what you heard earlier. Apart of the Asian culture, this country is influenced by the Britons, Americans, Europeans, etc. as well. It's just a very mixed up cultured country! Still, we survive in our own ways.
Food can be found everywhere and you don't have to be worried if you are in Malaysia and you are hungry in the middle of the night or wee hours of the morning. There's food all the time - round the clock. Food of different culture can be found in this country and each state prepares food differently; e.g. chinese food from Penang will be totally different from chinese food from Kuala Lumpur.
Oh my...I can go on and on and on with all sorts but let me show you some pictures here of how this country looks like from various perspective:-

Reasons to love it: authentic Christians, has a semi-sane center of culture (Nashville), it has more of a Western attitude than an East Coast attitude, beautiful hills, the BEST barbecue, many of the women are gorgeous, great infrastructure, friendly neighbors, a heritage of strength.

My country is Canada - the only country in the world that has a beaver as it's official animal (I can't believe I just admitted that!!!). Honestly, why couldn't we pick a ferocious polar bear, or even one of our fierce Canadian Geese?

I'm from India. It's a country made up of close to 30 states and a few Union Territories; but, to be honest, each state is unique in its own. Every state in India has its own language, its own history, its own culture and its own "way of doing things". I have lived in India since my birth but I still feel like a tourist when I go to another state!
Here's a mind-boggling fact - The 2001 census registered 122 major languages and 1,599 other languages (or, dialects) spoken in India. Of the 122 major languages, only 30 were spoken by more than 1 million native speakers, while some among the rest had as few as 10,000 native speakers.
