American football still havent watched a full game (espn) but im so confused like whats with all the scrambling around the field tackling ppl when they dont even have the ball i dont see the point in rubgy you tackle the dude or dudess with the ball because they can score . It was so different to rugby and it wasnt constant running action or alot of it so i stopped watching . Ughh help a kiwi out who likes her rugby much more straight forward game
That's the way we do it in America...everybody gets hit :)

Watching the games though? Too tense. Every time someone on the team I'm rooting for messes up or an official makes the wrong call, our TV is in danger of me throwing something at it. lol
I do agree the games do get intense. Everytime I see them tackle each other and I just hope and pray they are okay. I kinda think it's a woman thing to do this. Lol.

PS I would rather play the game then watch it because watching it can be a little boring.

If Donald Trump becomes the president of the United States and started running into a lot of problems getting things done because of congress and making decisions that is messing up America can he just say I can't get anything done so I'm done and I quit before his term is up?

When we were kids and played football, I couldn't catch the ball. (Only within the last ten years have I figured out why -- no depth perception. Duh now! lol) So my job was to stop the other team either from getting the guy with the ball or stopping the guy with the ball getting in the end zone. (Sandlot football, so we were both defense and offense. lol)

I was the biggest person in my class until the boys finally caught up and past me in 10th grade, but this was when we were still just kids, so I was as big or bigger than my older brothers. I always knocked down the guy I was supposed to knock down. (Arms folded, because apparently there's some rule that says we can't use our hands to knock down people.) Then I'd blush, offer my hand to help him up, and apologized.

It seems boys don't take kindly to girls knocking them down, and then helping them up while apologizing. Each play they'd try harder. I didn't. I still knocked them down. They'd get madder. It's only a game and I was only doing what I was supposed to do. Nothing personal.

Boys! Never could understand them. lol

The first person I voted for to become President was Gerry Ford. He didn't win. The only person I ever voted for that I was proud to vote for and won both times was Ronald Reagan. Besides Ronald Reagan, what President have we had that got anything good done anyway In the last 40 years? It never stopped most of them from winning a second term.

Are there some kind of heavenly brownie points for having someone be your "accuser?" It seems quite the thing to assume I'm accusing people simply because I disagree with them lately, so I'm thinking it might have to do with some heavenly brownie points I don't recall seeing as available to me in the Bible.

And if these brownie points are real, are they as yummy as brownies?

If you need points I'll be happy to accuse you of something.

By the way... you're too nice, too mean, too loud, and too quiet.

(Maybe that's a good start.)

Chocolate? Not even chocolate?
Chocolate is just okay........I just have had to retrain myself not to enjoy food for just the thought of it as its fuel for our bodies. I have no problem making sweets, but I give them away so I don't get tempted by them

Yeah, but God has been known to change people when they least expect it. (My hubby was "that atheist." He went to bed angry at God after losing another debate with a Christian woman who really knew her Bible and woke up a believer.)
That's what I mean by "if a person is really an Atheist"because I don't think a true atheist would get upset at GOD about losing an argument to a Christian I think they might get upset at themselves but they would not get upset at GOD unless their conscience was bothering them.
