I think it is after the Judgement in heaven, and after the world is cleansed with fire. I know the first cleansing was the flood! Than the new Jerusalem will be brought down!

Nope never wondered...

Pretty 'earthy'

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.
(Rev 22:1-5)

except for that period of time...

After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands,
(Rev 7:9)

and

After this I heard what seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying out, "Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,
(Rev 19:1) as well as a marriage supper up in heaven (Rev 19:9)

Yes.
And we've decided not to give you the GPS.
Not a problem. I wouldn't know how to work GPS if someone gave it to me for free. lol

You're trying out for the Comedy Club, right?
No, that was a real question. Sort of like "God is eternal." The closest I can get to conceive what that means is God was around before the universe. Then my mind goes with "how much time before the universe."
"No time before the universe."

"Ummm, how much time is no time?"

"No idea, because times not involved."

Then my mind gets boggled, because I can't really picture outside time, being linear myself.

And then likewise, I can't picture no space outside of space.

God is outside time or space, but the best I can do with that is imagine him in time and space anyway despite that.

So, you believe, like I do, that God is outside time and space. Then how do you imagine heaven, because I seem quite stuck with imagining it's really some kind of space, when it might not be.

Is, for instance, dreaming or imagination or thinking, a location?

That's interesting, because I don't see "God is eternal" as 'time', per se. I see it as "all encompassing", everywhere and everything... totally involved and all absorbing... living in, and being lived in. Basically, making life what life is.

Because heaven is not out final destination. The new earth is, to live forever in our glorified bodies with our God. No sin, no death...yay : . Can't wait.

I'm very visual in my thinking. Everything has to look like something. Whereas, you didn't go where my mind went, I have no idea how to visualize what "all encompassing" looks like. No visual -- no comprehension. Weird, huh?

Yes. It looks like a protective hug, yummy dinner, going the extra mile, putting your only coat on someone who is cold. See? It still looks like something.

To bridge the distance between heaven and earth, to end the separation: ...Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. (Rev 21:3 / NIV)

"No", I didn't say that you are able to identify acts of loving kindness... I said that you experience an understanding of the feeling of love...... (even if the other person has died.)
