Someone showed me a scripture in the bibles and it is Romans 3:23
And it says for all have sinned and continue to fall short of gods glory.
That makes me feel like I fail everyday and all my efforts for him don't count cause I'll never stop sinning. I heard someone say every Christian will continue to sin willingly and unintentionally but he will always forgive. Why would he keep forgiving if we just turn around and do it again? What's the point?
Say if someone keeps stealing belongings from your house and you have given this person many chances before.. your not gonna keep letting that person into the house right? I don't understand how god would keep giving chances or forgiving. It just doesn't seem logical to me. It seems far fetched and made up in a way to make people feel better about effing up. Why would he just keep forgiving us?
Why do people say all sin is the same too?
How can murderers be in the same cagatory for sin as someone who lies about something? They are both sin right? But one is way worse then the other clearly, but god forgives the same?
[1 john 3:15Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, **and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him**.]
What does that last part that I have ** mean? Is it saying no murderers can have eternal life? And if so why is sin considered all the same then?
I am sorry if these are stupid questions.
