I need help for a google search

The Pope is coming to Philly this weekend.

Much of Center City, Olde City, and University City is closed/will be closed. (Those are the commercial section, the tourist section and the location of several of our universities -- thus the neighborhood names for parts of Philly.)

Hubby has an appointment at the VA hospital on Wednesday.

The VA Hospital is in University City.

If I google "Philadelphia VA Hospital parking Pope's visit," I can learn all about the horror D.C. is going through with their papal visit. (Because VA also means Virginia, as well as Veterans Affair, and sure enough D.C.'s VA hospital (as in Veterans Affairs) will have serious problems, but I cannot find out if hubby can make his appointment on Wednesday.

So can anyone figure out the traffic/parking mess in my own city better than I can?
 
Try Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Parking . . .

Not Philadelphia VA Parking . . .
 
Or try a helicopter..naww, on second thought he'll probably get shot down by armed security.

I found the map. Apparently they don't tell until it's too late. Philly intelligence strikes again.
 
I would imagine that they would leave at least one way open for the public to have access to the VA hospital since it is a medical facility.

Here is a map on the University City website that shows a map and updated info about 1/3rd down the page. It shows a green line (open access) through the 40th street portal in the lower left corner of the map, and it was updated last month..

They're still changing "the map." That and they've already starting closing neighborhoods with little warning. The Pope's coming Friday, but hubby's appointment was Wednesday. He solved the problem. He'll postpone the appointment.

As for this weekend, the obviously solution for the whole city is no one drive their cars!
 
don't know if this helps for the parking problem, but:

if you use - in front of a word, google wont return results containing that word, good for emitting annoying stuff
