The one I heard was, "Bibles that are falling apart belong to people whos' lives are not falling apart." But yeah, that's not really true. My grandmother has had her bible for many years and it's still looking good. She reads it every morning for a while.
Yea for real! I'm not falling apart, I just like taking care of my stuff.

"Setting up the scam stove, I realized that the volume dial had wrenched it's colors off of bloom--thereby flanking the impending bell, and setting the whole engine into fits of spurious contention. This coming after words and bleppings heard in the surrounding shops had already set sail!!" < These sentences irritate and annoy me at the same time!.

Speaking of which...It is annoying when folks are saying 'Coke' for everything, whether it be Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew etc...they got brands of their own for cryin out loud;)

Never, ever, ever come to the south. Everything is coke.
"Hey would you get me a coke while you're up?"
"Sure, what kind?"
"Dr. Pepper if you have it. If not, sprite."

It's the word we use instead of the yankee word "pop."

Ah well. In that case find somewhere to move to where they call it something else. But wherever you go they will call all carbonated beverages one thing. Soda, cola, pop, coke, it differs by region but everyone applies a blanket word for the whole panoply of soft drinks.

97% of what I say is facetious. Only 3% is to be taken seriously.

Which 3%? Ah, there's the question.

That leaves too much room for interpretation...besides...saying '97%' out loud to a backwoods gal like me will make me think of good ole Lightnin' Bubba...reckon you get what he was up to...:p;) lol

No sir, no movie reference, just good ole Bubba a piece down the road...but he allegedly knows how to proof his work...if ya know what I mean...I'd say this is a 'Backwoods' reference:rolleyes:

Ah, I get it. A moonshine reference.

But 97% would be rather strong, even for moonshine. Perhaps it was just 97 proof? That would be something like... 48.5%?

Lol, that was just because you threw out that '97%', I'm not familiar with the details...I just recollect that the boys were talkin bout good ole Bubba (may he be making what he was always making on the 'eternal whatever he was making grounds') and his 'crop'...and how awfully fine it was lol...

Nothing upsets me. I upset myself with my rigid views and demands.
