No mention of direct involvement in ANY of those verses...

'Flaming arrows'....'flood of water'....'snare'...etc, etc.....NONE of those verses mentions Satan's personal involvement...rather, it can only refer to his demons...
You are incorrect! Satan is "the evil one" and it shows that we have to be prepared for his schemes at all times. Your position is just to deny everything. To extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one is pretty straight forward, but again you circumvent Scripture to suit your own position, that is, the position that you adopted. I have had these debates with amillennialists many times before and you are no different. It is the same nonsense over and over again.

"The evil one" is with the definite article and is genitive, masculine and singular. Therefore, "the evil one" could not refer to his demons, because it would have to be in the plural.

There is no direct involvement by Satan in that verse....otherwise, why use 'flaming arrows' plural?!

This verse fits perfectly with my position that Satan is bound, and cannot be there in person....all that can be done is a long distance relationship through his demons...

Keep trying...

Scripture informs the reader that Satan directly possessed people right up until Jesus' death upon the cross.

Afterward, the only casting-out that was performed was on demons.

Why not show us the verb tenses utilized....?

Or....will it utterly destroy your worldview....?

Mary Magdalene had 7 demons..........2 And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,

An entire legion of demons were cast into a herd of swine by Jesus

Cuz there is more than one arrow.

I would like to pension that you don't lump all amillenialist into one box.

Revelation is full of symbolism. Even the most literalist will admit that some of the images are symbolic.

For example, the Lamb having seven eyes and seven spirits.

Seven is the number for perfection. Like seven days of creation.

I will state what I currently believe. Not to prove or convince but because from my studies of the Bible and history it makes the most sense.

It's not prepackaged.

First I believe that Christ is ruling in Heaven with His saints and has been doing so since His ascension after His resurrection.

No where in Chapter 20 does it say they are ruling from earth. It is not until chapter 21 that the city descends from heaven to earth. The new Jerusalem upon mount soon.

Nero was the beast, his number was 666 and he loved to kill Christians, even requiring them to take a Mark. So they could but and sell. He was the Roman emperor during the time this book was written.

There is nothing keeping Christ from returning or for the final judgement in Chapter 20 when the second resurrection of the dead happens.

Satan is not in control of this world. God is.

Think of all the religions before Christ.,.human sacrfice, temple prositution, cannibalism, demonically possessed idols. Those were the type of deceptions Satan used on the nations.

Now most agree that child prostitution is wrong, only very few People try and give human sacrifice but they are condemned if caught by most people.

Satan is not the only evil spirit told about in the Bible. There is the beast, his prophet, legion of demons.

Why do many Christians want to set up a false comparison between Jesus and Satan.

God is all powerful, all knowing and has a plan.

Satan is just a fallen angel among thousands. He is the leader of 1/3 of the angels cast out of heaven into the earth.

Did revelation 20 say Satan and his follow angels were cast into the abyss?

I didn't read it. So yes there are still fallen angels walking around earth, but they can't get to heaven. Eventully God will cast them into the fiery pit.

Do you believe revelation 12 to be past present or future?

Arrows would be used if you are out of distance from your intended target....hence, Satan is bound and cannot make a personal visit.

and made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign over the earth. Rev 5.10

This does NOT refer to a single man....but mankind.

144k is the 'number' of God's Elect.

666 is the 'number' of Satan's elect.

LOL why do you think that we can resist the Devil? It is because he is bound. If he were not, none could resist his will.
You literally made that up

You painted yourself into a corner.
Those fiery darts are words.

Jesus in the wilderness.

Jesus said Jesus was bound whilst He was on earth (Matt 12.28-29 AND PARALLELS). He said that He had seen Satan like lightning fall from Heaven whilst He was still ministering. Passing through tells me Jesus was wrong. Oh dear. Now Who do I believe?

Furthermore his minions were defeated and led in triumph at the resurrection (Col 2.15).

By His resurrection all principalities and powers were subdued (Eph 1.20-21).

Clearly then the 'thousand years' (long period of time) during which Satan will be bound has already started. This is confirmed by the fact that he is released from the Abyss in Rev 9.1-11. As is the Beast (Rev 17.8).
That conclusion you make is nothing short of bizarre.

Adam was told he would die the very day he ate of the tree.

I suppose someone could make a case for some other race of man taking over the planet since Adam was dead.

Wouldn't make it so.

Yes, Rev chp 12 vs 7. He is bond in heaven. Micheal & other Angels fight against him & he is defeated. Then satan is cast down to earth (defacto) literally, physically. All here on earth at that time will see. Woe to those on earth when he is cast out of heaven.

This dimension is not one dimensional.

Satan being only in heaven.

Yes, Satan is bound in the sense that he can never totally deceive the nations. However, some believe that he will be let lose right before Christ's "so called" second coming. Satan's power has been greatly diminished at the cross, think about what the world was like back then, and what it is now. The world might be on a downward trend now, but it's much better then before Christ. Christ and His church have greatly influenced the world and God's word says the gates of hades will not prevail against the Church.
