Publically elected officials are at the mercy of investigation, criticism and praise if they deserve it.

They don't always deserve it. And not to be racist or anything like that, but so far a majority of the americans are quick to give the blame to whoever they think deserves it... take GWB for example...

I am making comments based on observation and from my experiencefrom livingin the US.
I am not saying that it is gospel.

All I have seen so far is accusations that Obama is some how worse than GWB and that Palin would make a fine leader because she is a woman of God.

wow....nevermind...there is no logic here...GWB is widely regarded by those of us who have lived through more than a few presidents and have researched the topic as the most damaging president to the country in US history on many fronts....now i won't bash his faith, because i don't know where that is honestly....but he made extremely poor, hasty decisions in the white house....

And let's just say that his international reputation is far from positive. And that is putting it mildly.

Actually, GWB, Tony Blair (UK) and Howard from Australia are deeply unpopular.

Our guy, Howard, not only lost the last election but lost his seat in Parliament as well, after being Prime Minister for 14 years and being a politician for over 30.

First time that has ever happened and was due, in the main, to his blind trust and close ties with GWB and our presence in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I am scared living in a country where the leader believe it's ok to bomb first and figure out the reason later.
If America see the things Palin said as qualifications valid, by now I am more than qualified to control military cause I live nearby the army base (Plus, I am good at military video game).
