aaaaargh! why are humans so stupid?

a customer wanted me to keep their order for a week and then send it, as they are going on vacation,
rather than her calling back when they are back.
Store her order, and send it SOMEWHERE next week. If she complains just tell her you mixed up her adress and the place she was vacationing...that should teach her how to dont:p

They don't pay for their consumables as they are included in a contract they have,
and even if they did pay, all that will happen if I place an order while they are away is that the warehouse will return the goods and the order will be cancelled (yay for third, and fourth and fifth) parties :p

I agree. Humans are atrocious beings. God bless their souls.

Hmmm... reminds me of a quote. "If it weren't for other people, it would be easy to get to Heaven."

And that reminds me of this hymn:

I think I just hurt my left thumbnail... while turning pages and carrying a book (a very HEAVY book, mind you)... at the CVS, next to the library, in Aisle 7 (right across from the denture cream, although, NO, I was NOT shopping for denture cream, honest...)

There appears to be some swelling, redness, and perhaps a hinting of a sarcastic snicker.

So... Melita, Super Secretary Extraordinaire... What's my official ICD10 code, girlfriend???

sorry, kim. that's for a medical doctor to review. not the chiropractor :p

i was thinking earlier today (after throwing my 5th fit lol) - i should not be so icky about all this. chiropractors only deal with certain things. i can't even imagine how medical doctor offices handled the switch. i know there are specialist, but like general? gah.

But... but... I think my thumb might have to be cracked back into place...

Definitely chiropractor material here!!

SNAP!!! I just wanna know what my code is!! :p And... of course... to torture you a bit. Because that's how much I care.

Either that, or I'm just bored while waiting for my lunch to cook. :) Nope, nope, nope... I REALLY care, Melita!! :D

I'm having troubles containing myself looking at all these Feels memes. So dumb yet funny. My cheeks are starting to hurt.

*giggles* *laughs hysterically* *snorts* *composes herself*

Pardon me. That was very lady-like. Carry on.

Yesterday was terrible. With my kids, I mean. It was one of those kinds of days where if someone who was thinking about having kids asked me how I like being a mom, I would have first had to contain both children in their room and then would probably have said something like...

Parenting...hmm. Yeah, it's...a...trap. You'll see all these cute pictures of cute kids, and you'll think maybe you'd like one or two of your own. Then you'll maybe have one or two, and gosh they're cute, but you don't really count on never sleeping again until six months later you realize you haven't slept since they were born. Don't worry! That passes. And then they start walking and climbing and talking and it's so cool until they figure out they can hit you in the face with the stinky diaper they just discovered they can take off by themselves. It's ok, they don't do that very often. And you'll love them anyway, although you'll probably be traumatized. When they grow out of that phase, they're super sweet. Until they start potty training, which is like a unique torture method just for parents, and you'll spend days on end just waiting for the next mess you'll have to clean up because some kids are anti-potty until they're five. And if you don't completely lose your mind after all that, they'll find a new way to break you, like maybe turning on the burners of the gas stove and setting stuffed animals on top and screaming and kicking you when you rescue them from being burned and they'll tell you they were COOKING DINNER and why can't they ever have any fun? Um...so...what was the question? How do I like being a mom? Oh, yeah, I love it.

...today has been way, way better.
