I'm sorry sister but I can't agree, when my bandwidth runs out I have to wait till the start of the next month to access internet again and I would be lost if I could not recap....

I know what you mean, though Loveschild! Maybe if we had a board for "archived" topics to allow room for "new topics" or something? THat way people could still browse the old ones, but they aren't getting bumped and pushing new ones out of the way.
I just do not get this thread.......what is the problem with having continuing topics? It is not like new ones are not able to be created because the old ones are taking up too much room. If you want to talk about a new topic why not start one - I think I started about three new topics today.
I think eather way is fine.
Although I do enjoy looking back at my old posts and others and seeing how much we all have grown in faith, knowladge and the love of Jesus.
God bless, pickles

I imagine everybody knows this already, but just in case …
Threads aren’t lost when they are bumped off the first page. They simply are moved to the next page. In the blue areas on both top and bottom you can click what page you want to view. I frequently go to the second page and sometimes the third.
It has taken time but I have been discovering other things on this website that make navigation easier. I didn’t know until recently there is a button on the left of each thread listing that takes you to the first unread thread. This is quite helpful.
I guess when you are elderly like me, it is difficult to learn new things. It’s like the brain has a saturation point.
I'm sure it would be a much more productive prayer to pray for things that actually matter, like the needy, the widow, the orphan, the suffering, than to pray for something as superficial and trivial as threads in a forum.
